With The Elder Scrolls Online releasing their first dominant expansion pack within a month's time, Bethesda have released a trailer, giving previews into the new DLC. The new expansion pack is set 700 years prior to the preceding game, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, meaning that characters and places will be recognisable to the community. In the trailer, it shows the barbaric world of the Dunmer, in which the player will be travelling across in Vvardenfell. Like the main game, The Elder Scrolls Online, you have the option between three political houses: House Hlaalu, House Telvanni, and House Redoran. The game will intrigue you, ... Read More »
Bethesda Softworks, to give them their proper name, has some pretty iconic intellectual property at their disposal. Wouldn't it be nice if we could somehow experience some of that in a new way? Well, we can, thanks to Bethesda Pinball, a collaboration between the publishing giant and Zen Studios, developer of Pinball FX2. On paper, bringing DOOM, Fallout and Skyrim to the pinball table is a masterstroke - it's hard to think of three more visually distinct and arresting games of the last few years, and Zen Studios has a remarkable track record in delivering fun, playable and astonishingly good looking ... After the launch of Fallout 4 and the announcement of the Skyrim remaster, I was hoping Bethesda was getting ready for an Elder Scrolls 6 announcement. According to Bethesda Marketing Executive Pete Hines, it's going to be a long time before that announcement happens. "The Elder Scrolls VI isn't in development," he said on Twitter. "We simply said we would make it eventually." Pre-production of video games start way before production starts on the actual game. Could it be that they are currently starting work on the story and direction they want to go, or did Hines mean that they haven't started ... Read More »

This is one game that people are really excited about and it's easy to see why. Friends and no doubt partners were lost over this game. It seems that an online retailer has listed Skyrim as a remaster and also let slip it's release date as well! (Please note this is a rumour but a heavy rumour at that) It has been been rumoured for days now that Bethesda were about to announce a remaster at E3 and this could be telltale sign that yes indeed they are in the process of remastering the game. Once again people will rejoice ... Read More »
Winter is coming! This time to Tamriel! After battling in the streets of the Imperial City (click HERE for the Imperial City DLC Review and HERE for the ESO review) in the first DLC we now take to the West and lend a hand to the Orcs! As always, this DLC will come free to ESO plus subscribers or 3000 crowns (approx. £20) to others. Previously I was critical of the Imperial City expansion's high level requirement to progress and I am overjoyed to see that a balance has been struck in the new Orsinium expansion that allows my level ...
