Gaming giants Bethesda, announced back in June, that the Elder Scrolls Online, will be getting some major changes and now the wait is nearly over. Official confirmation from @TESOnline on Twitter has stated that Xbox One players will receive the One Tamriel update on 18th October. When the patch goes live, players will be treated to some community-requested changes including scaling’s, restrictions and general Quality of Life fixes. Enemies will now be scaled; according to character levels, making it possible to travel anywhere in Tamriel without any restrictions. Winter is coming! This time to Tamriel! After battling in the streets of the Imperial City (click HERE for the Imperial City DLC Review and HERE for the ESO review) in the first DLC we now take to the West and lend a hand to the Orcs! As always, this DLC will come free to ESO plus subscribers or 3000 crowns (approx. £20) to others. Previously I was critical of the Imperial City expansion’s high level requirement to progress and I am overjoyed to see that a balance has been struck in the new Orsinium expansion that allows my level … Read More »

Orsinium, the ancestral home of the Orcs will be the latest area added for exploration. Set deep within the Wrothgar Mountains, King Kurog has sent out a call across Tamriel for adventurers to aid in Orsinium’s rebuilding. Should you choose to acknowledge King Kurog’s call to the Wrothgar Mountains and to the Orc’s capital, you will encounter all-new enemies and allies, as well as unravelling plots and counter plots. As well as the new adventure, Orsinium, The Elder Scrolls online’s biggest game pack to date, will feature The Maelstrom Arena, a solo challenge featuring nine combat rings and two different difficulty … Read More »

If you count yourself lucky enough to have been taking in by the fantastic Elder Scrolls Online (previously reviewed in full here), you should be aware by now that the first expansion, the Imperial City has been released for 2500 crowns (approx. £16) or free to monthly subscribers on the in game store. For many, the decision to expand the game is a given, for my sins (or the graces of being a review), I have put in less hours than I would have liked on this great game, and so the Imperial City has so far chewed me up … Read More »

The first DLC is now available for Xbox One There really is no denying it, Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited has had a hugely successful launch. So following in these footsteps we are now getting the first DLC, let’s take a look at the details and get this hype train started. Wonderfully developed by ‘Zenimax Online Studios’ we journey to the ‘Imperial City’, but there’s a major problem. The heart of the ‘Cyrodiilic Empire’ is now reigned over by Daedric Prince Molag Bal. It’s up to all three alliances to fight back and battle against the Daedric forces, not is all as … Read More »

The Elder Scrolls Online Review The Elder Scrolls Online has a gigantic task on its hands living up to Skyrim, one of the greatest and most liberating adventures gaming has to offer. Comparing the latest entry in the series to its offline predecessor is only natural, and while it doesn’t provide the same calibre of solo experience, developer ZeniMax Online have delivered a solid online role playing game and a worthy new chapter in this epic saga. Elder Scrolls Online doesn’t lacks the visual richness of Skyrim and Oblivion before it, but what I can say is Bethesda has clearly worked … Read More »
