We Happy Few coming today

One of the most interesting games shown at the recent E3 in the City of Angels was We Happy Few from Compulsion Games. Set in a 1960s dystopian England, We Happy Few is the tale of a plucky bunch of moderately terrible people trying to escape from a lifetime of cheerful denial in the city of Wellington Wells. You’ll have to blend in with its other inhabitants, who don’t take kindly to people who don’t abide by their not-so-normal rules. “We Happy Few is about surviving in and escaping from a procedurally generated world, where you must learn to hide … Read More »

Let’s take a closer look at one of those new features, Clubs. Clubs are exactly whet they sound like – little gangs of like-minded folks who have some common interest. That might be a particular game, or it might … Read More »

Sea of Thieves Download Size Revealed on Xbox Store

The file size for Sea of Thieves, the latest game from much-loved development studio Rare, has been revealed over on the Xbox Store – a good six months before the game drops. When it was first revealed at last year’s E3, information was thin on the ground. It was pitched a cartoonish pirate shared-world game with an incredibly distinct art style. Since then, we’ve learned … Read More »

Resident Evil 7 is No Reboot, Says Game’s Director

Resident Evil 7 certainly caught the attention of gamers when it was revealed during E3 2016, not least because, with its first-person POV, it’s so utterly different from anything we’ve seen in the series before (and we’re not counting those FPS spin-offs with their emphasis on hot lead over horror). And according to a Capcom Unity interview with the game’s director, Kōshi Nakanishi, and producer, Masachika Kawata, the game’s not a reboot, but a return the series’ horror roots. During the interview, Nakanishi stated that: It’s not a reboot and we’re not throwing away the series’ canonical storyline. It’s the … Read More »
