Steep is Ubisoft's attempt to reinvent the snowboarding genre in video games and it goes a long way to do this. Cuphead is a game that seems to stuck in an extremely unfortunate cycle of release date window announcements followed by an eventual delay of that release date. Inevitably that cycle has come full circle once more. Late yesterday StudioMDHR announced that Cuphead, originally due for release in 2015, has again been delayed. Xbox One gamers still waiting for the next Ark: Survival Evolved update are going to have to keep waiting (and surviving). While their PC-gaming cousins got fresh content last week, it seems that players on console have yet to find out when the promised content will drop. Chief among the updates Xboxers are waiting for is the PrimitivePlus mod, which adds tons of new crafting items – and that’s the reason for the current delay in getting it shipped out. The saga of Crackdown 3 is a strange one, with its omission from E3 2016 and subsequent delay into 2017 coming from seemingly nowhere. At least now we have some clarification. Speaking to Game Informer, general manager of Microsoft Studios Shannon Loftis went into detail regarding the delay, stating that they were hard at work on the Campaign mode after focusing on the multiplayer Sandbox: "It’s actually the campaign that we’re doubling down on now. The scheduled update for Rock Band 4, that was due to arrive in January, has been pushed back a week and is now officially the titles February update. There was bug discovered late in the patch that caused the delay but to the credit of Harmonix they have been forthcoming with this information, specifically in their blog which can be found here, and not made excuses for themselves. When the update does eventually arrive it will fix score exploits, allow leaderboard postings for Play a Show mode, and improve audio quality.
