Last December presented somewhat of a terrible experience for yours truly. I had to suffer the indignity of observing one of my favourite franchises commit figurative “bed-soiling”, resulting in a damaged legacy for the foreseeable future. I am referring, of course, to Dead Rising 4. For a game supposedly heading back to its roots, Dead Rising 4 was practically unrecognisable when compared to every other game in the series. Whilst that was good in some cases (DR 4 offered the best gameplay engine and combat of the whole series), something was missing. There was no charm, no soul; mowing down ... Read More »
The announcement of a mini golf DLC for Dead Rising 4 was met with equal parts confusion and amazement, but could now be set to be the most fun part of the whole game. Not a lofty task, but still. We won't have to wait long to find out the actual quality of this DLC, as Capcom have announced that Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf will be launching on June 20th. Of course, this will be a round of golf like no other, with the golfers in exo-suits, zombies littering the fairways and golf balls that do not ... Read More »

Like myself, many gamer's have a hard time around the holidays, trying to decide whether or not to buy your mum a gift, or treat yourself to that new game that just came out. That was the case for many of us Dead Rising fans when the 4th iteration of the game came out, and so we were good kids and opted to buy our mum something. Following the release of Dead Rising 4 however, it was a mixed bag of reviews. With some saying it was a good game to kill a few hours, boasting multiplayer game modes and ... Read More »
The zombie apocalypse is something that is a legitimate concern for some but more of a fun challenge when it comes to gamers.  The Dead Rising series from Capcom has always done a stellar job at making it even more fun and comical but also adds a survivability factor that makes it more of a challenge.  Dead Rising 4 has an update on the way to make things both more fun by dressing Frank West up in awesome outfits and if you are up to it, more challenging as well. Capcom is going to add two new difficulty modes to ... Read More »

Yippee Ki Yay, Father Christmas. Still, that magical box of wonders sat next to your TV, or Xbox One if you prefer, contains a whole manner of activities to help celebrate Christmas. Let's take a look at some ... Read More »

Meanwhile, gamers have found themselves falling in love with The Last Guardian – before swiftly falling out of love with the occasionally frustrating mechanics of a game originally destined for the PlayStation 3. Elsewhere in the charts, Fifa 17 continues to find a near-permanent home near the top of the charts, and Battlefield 1 gets clearly got a sales ... Read More »
