Fans of Codemasters F1 2017 will be pleased to hear that the latest patch has been released. Called v1.9, this latest update has been released following demand by players for the latest liveries, (because who wants to play a realistic racing game with cars that don't look like the real deal?) and also includes an updated Spectator mode and the addition of a Photo mode. Codemasters have today released a new gameplay trailer for DiRT 4, with an emphasis on rallycross content and encourages the player to 'be fearless'. Taking place on a range of mixed surface circuits, the multi-car rallycross event offers quick fire races of between 4 - 6 laps. Included in this will be a 'joker' lap which is said to be longer and more tactical. You'll have to work your way through the qualifiers if you wish to make it this far, however. The long awaited next installment in the DiRT franchise is close to the starting grid, and to whet your appetite a little further, Codemasters have released a new gameplay trailer. Boasting a line up of over 50 off road vehicles, the trailer demonstrates some impressive graphics and high octane madness with some of the most iconic and much loved rally cars. After the announcement earlier this year that Micro Machines would be making a return to consoles after a very long hiatus, Codemasters have released a new trailer. The new battle modes introduced will allow up to 12 players to compete in all manner of multiplayer events. You'll find FPS regular modes making their way to the Micro Machines world with 6 Vs 6 Team Death Match, Capture the Flag and a Territory mode. If you are a fan of customisation in racing games then you will be pleased to learn that Codemasters has developed a unique new way of creating custom stages. "Your Stage allows you to produce a near infinite number of unique stages at the touch of a button in DiRT 4. Just select one of the five rally locations from within the game (Australia, Spain, Michigan, Sweden & Wales) and set the time of day and weather conditions. Last year fans of the racing genre were treated to the phenomenal hit DiRT Rally. On the back of this success developer Codemasters have announced a follow up that will be called DiRT 4. But this time around the action will be notched up even more with the reintroduction of fan favourites including truck racing and terrifying buggy racing. You may have seen us report earlier this week that there was a rumor circulating that Codemasters were planning on resurrecting the much enjoyed Micro Machines series of games. It is with delight that we received confirmation today that the rumors were true; Micro Machines are back in Micro Machines World Series!!!  Whenever something considered a classic is re-imagined it is always expected to deliver an experience as good, if not better than the original. You've read it correctly folks...At long last, a beloved favourite; Micro Machines World Series by Codemasters is getting resurrected on consoles according to the Xboxachievements website, so please only take this as speculation for the time, being until codemasters confirms its official release, however Xboxachievements have been known to be reliable sources. It looks as though it's returning due to it's success as a free-to-play title on iOS, released back in July of last year.
