After an evening packed with exciting new games, Microsoft ended their presentation with something many of us have al been waiting for: our first look at CD Projekt Red‘s sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077. The Witcher 3 Gets 4k Update

The Witcher 3, the popular action-rpg from CD Projekt Red has become the latest game to receive an opportunity to shine on the Xbox One X. Players who download the 550mb Xbox One X patch can expect to receive improved 4k graphics, HDR support and performance enhancement, (players will get two options; increased performance or better visuals). Performance mode will allow you to play at 60fps at a min of 1080p, the improved visual mode will bring the game to life in 4k with improved texture mapping, enhanced shadows and of course, 4k gameplay. The Witcher 3 was one of the phenomenal hits of last year and rightly so. It provided us with one of the biggest, most beautiful open worlds that we have seen, and the quests matched this quality pound for pound. The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine DLC Playable Now, One Day Early

The Witcher 3’s eagerly anticipated DLC, Blood and Wine, was slated for release tomorrow (May 31st) but after an update, gamers can play the game today. The Blood and Wine expansion pack, CD Projekt Red’s second add-on for the game, adds around 30 hours of gameplay, in the all-new Toussaint area. The Witcher 3: Is This The End?

Ok so nobody panic but it looks like the Blood and Wine Expansion, due out one the 31st of May, could be the end of The Witcher as we know it. That certainly would seem to be the case if you were to listen to Marcin Iwinski. The CD Projekt Red co-founder said the studio doesn’t have any plans for The Witcher after the Blood and Wine expansion hits at the end of the month.
