I’m a huge fan of the Rock Band series and when Rock Band 4 was announced for this generation of consoles, I was screaming like a schoolgirl. Almost all of the tracks for the previous games and DLC would be available and wouldn’t have to be repurchased – which amazed me since I’ve thrown around $600 towards DLC songs. I’m really not kidding either. I blindly purchased the full band kit and came home to find a key staple of the game missing – ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!  So yes, while the game actually launched on 6 October, 2015, it’s not until nearly a … Read More »

If you’re a regular on Infinity Ward’s latest offering in the Call of Duty franchise, Infinite Warfare, then you’re sure to have witnessed, read about or heard about the latest scandal involving glitched Supply Drops in the game. In short the glitch allowed players to open a supply drop containing 30 keys, the currency used to buy the games rarest items, over and over again. Ordinarily it would take players a huge amount of time or large quantities of real world money to rack up the amount of keys they were earning from this glitch. Gameplay patch 1.07 was deployed … Read More »

We’re two days into 2017, that means there are some great titles just over the horizon for gamers. One game that will be sure to grab a lot of attention will be Sledgehammer Games’ latest contribution to the Call of Duty franchise. While not much is known about the title as of yet, the gaming community have been full of assumptions. Many feel that Sledgehammer will learn from what many see as mistakes made by Infinity Ward. It is widely believed that Sledghammer will drag the Call of Duty kicking and screaming away from it’s current futuristic settings, adopting a … Read More »

Current day gaming suffers quite often from information about upcoming title updates being leaked. Whether it is at the hands of inside sources or data miners, in this case it’s the latter. It appears that a group of tech savvy Call of Duty fans have rummaged through the data held within the games files, and have come up with what they believe is going to be included in the next content update for Modern Warfare Remastered. If the information that came as a result of the datamine is to be believed then here’s what to expect in the next MWR update: … Read More »

It’s that time of year again. No not Christmas. Well of course we get the jolly fat man getting stuck in countless chimneys year after year, but it’s also the time for the first DLC announcement for the year’s iteration of Call of Duty. Activision have recently announced that the first DLC pack for Infinite Warfare will be titled Sabotage. The DLC adds, as always, a new zombie map; this time moving up an era with it’s 90’s themed with a rave taking place in the woods simply titled: Rave in the Redwoods. Along with the zombie map is 4 … Read More »

Recently, Treyarch posted a livestream on facebook discussing it’s plans for Black Ops 3. Yes, that’s right, plans for Black Ops 3, which was released back in November 2015. It’s no surprise that Infinite Warfare has been poorly received and sales have fallen dramatically behind that of Black Ops 3; which Activision claim to be the best selling Call of Duty title on current generation consoles. It makes complete sense to continue support for a game that has the most active players, which is why Dan Bunting, head of the studio has announced it plans to continue support for the community … Read More »

Infinite Warfare is here to stay, it’s had its ups and downs but it’s hard to deny that despite its flaws it does still have an ample fan base. That being said, as with the majority of titles with a large amount of support the developers of Infinite Warfare, Infinity Ward, are doing all they can to keep the title fresh and keep players interested. As such this coming weekend they’re introducing a traditional Call of Duty mode back into Infinite Warfare’s playlist. That mode is Tactical Team Death Match. The details of the mode can be seen in the quote … Read More »

Supply drops have been a touchy subject over the past couple years for Call of Duty players.  While most offer cosmetic only items, it was also the only source to obtain new weapons.  This was basically a pay to win mechanic that heavily relied on RNG to actually get what you want.  Well, now the remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has supply drops. The supply drops in MW Remastered work the same as in other CoD games.  You can earn depot credits through challenges and gameplay and spend those on supply drops.  The option is the familiar … Read More »
