In an announcement on their twitter page, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare  publisher Activision confirmed that the second beta is now live on both platforms. The first beta just wrapped up its first multiplayer weekend (after extending it a day) and Activision has announced that the second round of beta testing is taking place over this coming weekend. As November is fast approaching, the annual holiday release of one of the biggest franchises in gaming draws closer. This year, instead of the usual game related gimmick, like a remote controlled vehicle, night vision goggles or even a working mini-fridge added into the ‘prestige’ editions, Activision are giving us Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered. Activision confirms what we’ve all been waiting for – the full details of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta. Last week we speculated that Microsoft had accidentally let slip that the COD beta would hit Xbox on the 21st October. Turns out they were bang on, slating the launch for a week after it hit the PlayStation. IW‘s multiplayer beta arrives on Xbox One at 5pm on 21st October, and runs until 24th October. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare gives you the opportunity to replay one of the fan favourite maps, Modern Warfare 2’s Terminal, if you preorder the new title.
