I'm a huge Destiny fan.  Let's be honest though.  The long term enjoyment Destiny 2 has been very mediocre.  We all though that Curse of Osiris would help remedy that but all it did was give us a short story, strikes that just reuse story missions, and it's only saving grace was a great raid addition.  The biggest pain though was that all the endgame content and events were locked behind a paywall so those who didn't purchase the DLC, really lost content. Bungie announced last week they were making that change to give seasonal content to all and as ... Read More »
So let's face it, Bungie has messed up on the launch of Curse of Osiris for Destiny 2. It has been a general consensus with the player base that bungee has offered very little in this DLC and have locked too many casual things behind a paywall that were readily available in the first Destiny game as part of the regular experience. Outside of the amazing raid lair, there isn't much else outside of very little story and more repetitive gameplay. Bungie is now though seeing their errors and trying to fix them as best they can. Today Destiny 2 ... Read More »
In Destiny 2, your Ghost is your voice - he does all your talking. However, with Amazon's Alexa, you can talk back, and give as good as you get. Publisher Activision and Amazon recently joined forces and produced the "Destiny 2 Ghost Skill" for Alexa. Now, Alexa will let you ask her questions and complete in-games tasks, with voice acting by Nolan North. Amazon is selling an optional limited-edition Ghost speaker too. While this isn't an Alexa device in itself, it will link up with your current device. When answering your questions, your device will light up, making it more ... Read More »
Instead of the third and final livestream for the Curse of Osiris DLC, Bungie decided to address a lot of the concerns of the hardcore playerbase that is a part of Destiny 2.  It was a way for Bungie to show they do care about what their fans have to say but with how close the DLC is compared to the initial launch, there really wasn't enough time to make large sweeping changes.  With that however though, here is what Bungie has been up to: Upcoming Updates Overview We previously published a list of upcoming Destiny 2 improvements we want to deliver. ... Bungie has recently announced their the servers for Destiny 2 will be going down for some maintenance this Thursday 30th. The servers will go offline at 4pm, and if you're still playing at this time, as always, you will be automatically booted out so the Bungie guys can get to work. Expect the servers to be back up around 8pm, but as is always the case with server maintenance, this could take longer or it could be back up earlier. No mention as to the reason behind this maintenance, but our best guess is they're prepping for the Curse of ... Read More »
With players getting even more eager for new experiences in Destiny 2, Bungie is definitely driving the hype train with their weekly streams showing more and more of what players can expect in the first expansion called Curse of Osiris. First off Mercury is like all the other planets in that it is grand in scope ... Read More »
