So we finally have some official confirmation from Microsoft about why Borderlands: The Handsome Collection went free today, and why Silver members can download it. Turns out Microsoft are running a Multiplayer All-Access promotion from October 27th until October 30th, which will allow Silver members to play multiplayer games during that time. Back in October 2009, Gearbox gave the world its vision of a RPG style first person shooter that gave us all an original IP in a style never seen.  Borderlands gave fans of multiple genres a way to spend 1,000's of hours of our lives in the world of Pandora and it's millions of weapons and loot.  Borderlands over the next couple years has been followed up with a sequel - as well as a pre-sequel.  With Borderlands: The Pre-sequel being the most recent but also least enjoyed game in the series, fans have been getting eager hoping for Borderlands 3. ... Playing Lost Sea, there’s something reminiscent of being 6-years-old again, sitting cross-legged in front of the screen jostling with the joypad of the Mega Drive/N64/Playstation (delete according to age). There's almost a sense of child-like naivety in just how simple this sea-faring adventure is. Lost Sea comes from indie developer eastasiasoft, with a pretty experienced and talented team behind it. And boy, can you tell. A number of indie titles suffer quirky controls to niggling graphics – and you accept, or even embrace, that it’s the nature of a budding and ambitious small studio. None of that is present in Lost ... Read More »
Recently we have been inundated with remastered versions of our favourite games from the past. Some of these remasters are very welcomed additions to our Xbox One collections while others just feel like developers cashing in. Love them or hate them, remasters are here to stay. A few developers have so far resisted the urge to release remastered versions of there games. Up to this point Take-Two have been one such company, even though some of their games, including the Bioshock franchise, are some of the most requested remasters. But that soon may be about to change, that is if ... Read More »

Gearbox has officially confirmed at a PAX East panel  that it will be developing its third Borderlands game (the Pre-Sequel was created by 2K Australia) after it is finished with current project Battleborn and the subsequent DLC. "It's no secret, obviously there's going to be another Borderlands" Gearbox CEO and president Randy Pitchford said, he went on to add "We don't even know if we're going to call it that. We could call it Borderlands 4 for all we know" (let's be honest, that title would surprise no one). Battleborn art director Scott Kester said he will be the art ... Read More »
