Hironobu Sakaguchi probably isn't a name that when you hear it, you already know who he is.  In a world where pop culture icons in music and movies run mainstream, Hironobu Sakaguchi is a name where we personally get excited when we hear it.  For those unaware he is the original creator of Final Fantasy. Now, Sakaguchi no longer works for Square but still has used his uncanny ability in creating great RPG's to good use.  He was the driving force behind classics such as Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey.  In a recent interview with Japan's 4Gamer, he has stated that he ... Makes sense considering the art was created by Akira Toriyama. You know, the creator of Dragon Ball. I mentioned this when Lost Odyssey went backwards compatible, but the Xbox One has basically been crying out for some good quality JRPGs. Though we have Final Fantasy XV at the end of the ... Microsoft are besieged by requests from fans for games that they love to be made backwards compatible. Microsoft are listening, we can assure you, and every now and then the fans get a very special response from a man who is very close to our hearts. One fan recently asked Phil Spencer on Twitter if Blue dragon was going to be coming to the Xbox One via the backwards compatibility scheme. He was one of the lucky fans that uncle Phil decided to respond to personally. @Jfranklin4160 I'm not allowed to say but yes. — Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) August 4, ... Read More »
It has been confirmed on Reddit this week that the Xbox Backwards Compatibility Programme now supports multi disc games.
