Today Overwatch's latest update launched and with it game a whole host of new features and the like. The main thing of note however is the launch of the festive Winter Wonderland content. This update includes the usual set of new emotes, sprays and skins and a whole new gamemode in the form of the Yeti Hunt. There is also the return of Mei's Snowball Offensive. The new gamemode, Yeti Hunt, is an asymmetrical mode that see's five Mei characters hunting down one Winston. That's right folks. You read that right. We're in for yet another free weekend of Overwatch next week. Blizzard have had their smash hit title available to play for free for as many weekends as there are characters available in the roster. Starting 22nd September through to 25th September, you'll be able to play Overwatch completely free. You can download the trial from the Xbox Store beforehand so you can get the most play time from the free weekend. Overwatch, one of the great successes of last year has been growing from strength to strength since it's launch but it does seem to have one big problem, the community. For whatever reason the community has become something of a toxic cesspit. We have all received those hate filled messages for choosing Hanzo or Torbjörn in competitive mode. Yesterday Jeff Kaplan took to YouTube to announce that the team at Blizzard will be bringing a brand new gamemode to Overwatch, and this time they are going back to basics. All of the gamemodes in Overwatch in the past have been objective based but this time there is going to be no objective except to kill, kill, kill. It's no surprise that Blizzard's Arena Shooter Overwatch was given the game of the year award in December last year. The latest new hero in Overwatch, Orisa, is going live today, however she will not yet be available for competitive play. Blizzard have stated said that; 'we want to give players some time to learn about and play Orisa before she's placed into the crucible of Competitive Play.'
