At E3 last year the head of Xbox Phil Spencer made our jaws drop when he announced that Xbox 360 games would be playable on the Xbox One via something called the Backwards Compatibility program. Today marks the 300th* title to be added to the ever-growing list of Backwards Compatibility title. And what better way to celebrate with a collection (of sorts) as the long-overdue Bioshock titles get the Backwards Compatible treatment, as confirmed by Major Nelson himself via twitter. The collection, released worldwide on 15th September, features fully remastered versions of the original trilogy, with a graphical boost in lighting, textures, all running in the holy grail of 1080p/60fps. With the Bioshock collection arriving on Xbox later this year it's time to start getting excited! The collection includes Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinate. It's been rumoured for months but we can now officially confirm that BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite will all be remastered for Xbox One for a 16th of September 2016 release date.
