New Wolfenstein II Trailer Shows That Nazis Love Strawberry Milkshake

Bethesda Softworks have released a new trailer for what is already a contender for Game of the Year if the previous version is anything to go by, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Well, we say new trailer, it’s really an extension of some footage from E3. One of the highlights from that E3 trailer was the tense encounter with a Nazi Kommandant inside of an American Diner, with the Kommandant questioning lead character BJ Blazkowicz’s credentials. From what we saw, it was already an unnerving scene, and now Bethesda have released the full encounter. Check it out for yourself below, … Read More »

DOOM sound track to get live performance

Bleep. Bop. Boop. Remember when video games sounded like that? Well, no more. Chiptunes dominated the mid eighties – stunning creations from only two or three channels of sound. And now, Tommy Tallarico travels the globe with an incredibly successful live show featuring classic and modern video game soundtracks performed by full orchestras. DOOM is one of the best shooters of the year – fast, frantic and frenetic, it’s been rightly lauded. But you might have missed – in the cacophony of gunfire and explosions – that it has a stunning soundtrack. That soundtrack might me about to pick up … Read More »

Possible Skyrim Remaster?

Industry insider Shinobi602 recently talked about a variety of Bethesda’s E3 2016 secrets on a podcast with MrMattyPlays. Details are (obviously) scarce, but Shinobi602 revealed that Bethesda will be announcing a remaster, and there is a big possibility that it will be a remaster of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim! Thank Talos! This Dragonborn is slightly hyperventilating. I hear the theme song in my head as I write this. I secretly hope that the remastered edition would have an added option for a friend to join in, but I will still be more than ecstatic if it was the same as … Read More »
