Activision confirms what we’ve all been waiting for – the full details of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta. The game, which has an exclusivity deal with Sony, will drop first on PS4 on 14th October at 5pm and is set to end at 5pm on 17th … Read More »

For anyone that’s played The Game of the Year winner, The Witcher 3, will undoubtedly be familiar with the term ‘Gwent’. For those of you who aren’t familiar, it is The Witcher’s answer to Final Fantasy’s Triple Triad from many eons ago. It seems that DICE are not simply content with using any feedback they receive as a result of the Battlefield 1 BETA to improve the final product. They are willing to take feedback they receive and are using it to improve the experience for players in the games current BETA stage. Since last week’s massive server issues the test period seems to have gone relatively well, with many people liking what they’re seeing so far. That’s not to say though that the game is without fault. One of the biggest gripes for gamers so far has been how difficult it … Read More »

It’s the perfect Jeopardy category, really: Piers Morgan. Trump’s tiny hands. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. “Things that are deservedly hated.” But, wait? Deservedly? Really? Okay, two of them, absolutely. No argument here. But when a trailer for a COD game that’s not even out yet became one of the most disliked YouTube videos ever, we sat up and took notice. Yes, Call of Duty has seen diminishing returns of late, and Battlefield 1‘s boots-on-the-ground popularity is as much a COD future war protest as it is recognition of the rival franchise’s own merits. But COD’s still fun. Its hyperspeed … Read More »
