Rocksteady Tease Next Game

Rocksteady already mentioned that they were done with Batman for now, having proven themselves as the kings of superhero video games (if you can even call Batman a ‘superhero’), but they’ve already been hard at work on their next project. Head of marketing fro Rocksteady Gaz Deaves made a tweet recently that’s got fans guessing as to who the next superhero video game will be: Be patient, fans. I know we're not talking right now… but when we do, people are going to lose their minds. Can't wait 😀 — Gaz @ Rocksteady (@GazDeaves) September 28, 2017 Until we hear … Read More »

Four More Titles Join Backwards Compatible Library

Four more Xbox 360 games are now playable on your Xbox One, as tweeted by Major Nelson. And as usual, it’s a mixed line up. In his first Tweet, Nelson revealed that Deadliest Warrior: The Game, Disney’s Bolt and Sega Saturn Classic Fighting Vipers have all joined the back compat family. At which point this looked like it was shaping up to be another one of those ‘meh’ weeks. Of course Bolt would keep the kids entertained and Vipers would get the 32-bit retro nuts juices flowing. But then Nelson followed up with another tweet Deadliest Warrior, Disney Bolt and … Read More »

Batman: Return to Arkham Review

Anyone else remember playing the original Batman Arkham series on last-gen consoles? Remember its awful, blocky 8-bit graphics? And didn’t you have to squint to work out that purple and green blob was supposed to be The Joker? What a mess of a game. At least, we assume that’s what it must’ve been like – what other reason could there be for remastering one of the best gaming experiences out there? We’ll be upfront here, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were both 10/10 games. We struggle, even now, having just replayed them, deciding on which is better (Definitely Asylum… No, … Read More »
