Tekken fans have been blessed with a lot of quirky modes over the years, such as Tekken Force or Tekken Ball, but sadly these weren't included in the release of Tekken 7. The DLC, however, is a different story. In August, as part of the Season Pass, players will be able to enjoy Tekken Bowl in full HD glory, otherwise known as Ultimate Tekken Bowling. It's just like it was in Tekken Tag Tournament only shinier and not part of the main game. Still, it's a nice little inclusion for long-time fans of the series. No word on a proper ... Read More »
There a few game franchises that are renowned for their ability to transcend generational gaps in consoles. While many of those games are often brand exclusive, there are rare titles that are cross platform and still maintain this ability to continue to have a massive fan base. One franchise that seems to have nailed down the transition between console generations is Bandai Namco's Tekken. With their latest offering Tekken 7 now available, the question remains, does this series hold up or should it have been left in the past? First off, and this is probably the first thing that has an ... Read More »
Waking up dazed and confused in an abandoned asylum is no one’s idea of fun. More so when the majority of your memory is erased with only the sole purpose of saving a girl left bouncing around your mind. But that’s exactly the position lead character Cole Black finds himself in Get Even, a psychological puzzle shooter from Polish studio The Farm 51, and published by Bandai Namco. The key focus of Get Even leans toward the notion of memory, and the ability to not only re-live your own harrowing experiences, but also that of those around you. It’s an ... Read More »
There's been little news on Slightly Mad Studios car-centric sequel, Project Cars 2 since its announcement in January. However, Bandai Namco have today released a new trailer to whet our appetites. The video itself focuses on McLaren, and their newly revealed 720 supercar. The trailer doesn't give too much more away, but graphically the game looks to be shaping up well with plenty of attention to detail including weather effects and how the time of the day may affect your race. There's no set release yet for Project Cars 2, however it is expected to be out later this year. ... Read More »
We have all either done it or had it done to us. There have even been studies on it.  The rage quit. Bandai Namco wants to ensure that rage-quitting is something that isn't possible in the latest edition of it's fighting title, Tekken 7. "How will they manage that?" you ask. It's something that the game designers have been thinking long and hard about, as confirmed by Katsuhiro Harada in a recent interview with Gamespot. "You can't keep someone from physically pulling out the LAN cable, so the only thing you can do is make them not want to do that by ... Read More »

If you are one of the many people who played the first and current edition of Project Cars, you will know that this is a game that has been developed for the serious racer. With a focus on driving experience and realism, (particular the in-car mode) Project Cars is known for being a game which has sensitive controls and requires an approach with more finesse than simply mashing the pad. Xbox One UK can confidently report that Project Cars 2 has been developed with the same approach, presenting the player with even more of a challenge as we discovered at the ... Read More »
Bandai Namco have officially announced the post launch content for the much anticipated fighter Tekken 7, which will include the addition of two more guest characters.  Joining Akuma, these unannounced guest characters will be available as part of the season pass and will include a new stage and new costumes related to the character in question, and will be released later this year and early next year respectively. In the meantime, more than 50 costumes will be released in the summer. Of course, this news has sent Xbox One UK (me) into speculation overload. The easy guess would be another ... Read More »
