Hot off the press from the Tokyo Game Show, Code Vein developer Bandai Namco have released a new trailer for the game, showcasing what's on offer for this anime title. Whilst it looks like it has been influenced heavily from Dark Souls, this game looks to be it's own right. You'll get to create your own character and choose from a wide range of voice-overs as you as you set about draining the enemy's life force. But judging by the trailer, it looks much more than just that, especially since it looks to have a killer story. You can see ... Read More »
Bandai Namco have dropped a new trailer for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown - and it's utterly beautiful. Check it out below! https://youtu.be/sej7U2xdMTg The trailer is slick, showing a pair of fighter planes engaged in a dogfight, with missile lock, vapour trails and explosions everywhere. I have a feeling players are going to need to be wearing aviator shades and bomber jackets when this game finally appears. It's short, but it says what it needs to. The jets themselves look incredible, and all the mechanics you'd expect from an Ace Combat game are going to be here. Here's to hoping ... Read More »
It's fair to say that Dragonball FighterZ is one of the most anticipated fighting games in recent memory. The more we hear about it, the more excited we get, and Shonen Jump's weekly magazine Weekly Jump in Japan have unveiled some exciting new information. According to Attack of the Fanboy, the magazine article has revealed a bunch of new details about the upcoming game. Firstly, 4 new characters will be joining the roster. Androids 16 & 18 will be available alongside the Super Saiyan Blue versions of Goku and Vegeta. Still waiting on that Hercule announcement. The article also talks ... Read More »
Today, Bandai Namco has teased its latest game - Projekt #1514 with a short, 30 second trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZY4_pM7N4o The game is being developed by Japanese dev team Dimps - best known recently for Street Fighter V and several Dragon Ball Xenoverse games. The trailer shows what appear to be post-apocalyptic buildings with gunshots audible in the background - it certainly looks a long way removed from the studio's most recent output. Details are thin on the ground for the moment with no-one knowing for certain even what kind of game it will turn out to be. It looks interesting though - ... Read More »
Tekken fans have been blessed with a lot of quirky modes over the years, such as Tekken Force or Tekken Ball, but sadly these weren't included in the release of Tekken 7. The DLC, however, is a different story. In August, as part of the Season Pass, players will be able to enjoy Tekken Bowl in full HD glory, otherwise known as Ultimate Tekken Bowling. It's just like it was in Tekken Tag Tournament only shinier and not part of the main game. Still, it's a nice little inclusion for long-time fans of the series. No word on a proper ... Read More »
There a few game franchises that are renowned for their ability to transcend generational gaps in consoles. While many of those games are often brand exclusive, there are rare titles that are cross platform and still maintain this ability to continue to have a massive fan base. One franchise that seems to have nailed down the transition between console generations is Bandai Namco's Tekken. With their latest offering Tekken 7 now available, the question remains, does this series hold up or should it have been left in the past? First off, and this is probably the first thing that has an ... Read More »
Waking up dazed and confused in an abandoned asylum is no one’s idea of fun. More so when the majority of your memory is erased with only the sole purpose of saving a girl left bouncing around your mind. But that’s exactly the position lead character Cole Black finds himself in Get Even, a psychological puzzle shooter from Polish studio The Farm 51, and published by Bandai Namco. The key focus of Get Even leans toward the notion of memory, and the ability to not only re-live your own harrowing experiences, but also that of those around you. It’s an ... Read More »
There's been little news on Slightly Mad Studios car-centric sequel, Project Cars 2 since its announcement in January. However, Bandai Namco have today released a new trailer to whet our appetites. The video itself focuses on McLaren, and their newly revealed 720 supercar. The trailer doesn't give too much more away, but graphically the game looks to be shaping up well with plenty of attention to detail including weather effects and how the time of the day may affect your race. There's no set release yet for Project Cars 2, however it is expected to be out later this year. ... Read More »
We have all either done it or had it done to us. There have even been studies on it.  The rage quit. Bandai Namco wants to ensure that rage-quitting is something that isn't possible in the latest edition of it's fighting title, Tekken 7. "How will they manage that?" you ask. It's something that the game designers have been thinking long and hard about, as confirmed by Katsuhiro Harada in a recent interview with Gamespot. "You can't keep someone from physically pulling out the LAN cable, so the only thing you can do is make them not want to do that by ... Read More »
