Being developed by Tarsier Studios and published by Bandai Namco the game already has a certain amount of credibility before we even know too much about it. Bandai Namco are obviously world renowned but … Read More »

It’s fair to say we are hyped for Necropolis – a third person dungeon crawler that was due to hit Xbox One on 12 July. Billed as “an addictive blend of third-person action and procedural dungeon-delving. Oh, and perma-death” the game allows you to explore procedurally-generated dungeons alone or with up to three friends. It’s right up our street. But it looks like we’re going to have to wait just a little longer. Speaking to Eurogamer, developer Harebrained Schemes said Necropolis’ launch is “PC on July 12th, consoles are later this summer.” This is more than a little ironic as the … Read More »

It’s a good time to be a fighting game fan on the Xbox One. Namco Bandai and fighting game legend Katsuhiro Harada took to the stage at Microsoft’s E3 briefing to show off Tekken 7 on Xbox One. Showcasing what appeared to be a Story Mode battle between guest character Akuma and mainstay Heihachi Mishima, we see both an awesome cutscene and a battle between the two icons. The game will be releasing in Early 2017, and will be up-to-date with the current Japanese arcade version, Fated Retribution. Also, as a celebration of Tekken on Xbox One, previous game Tekken Tag … Read More »

Fans of either the popular anine/manga or the surprise hit game from last year will be pleased to hear that Bandai Namco and Dimps will be releasing Dragonball Xenoverse 2 sometime this year. Somewhat of a departure from the usual DBZ style games, Xenoverse saw players make their own characters/Namekian monstrosities to take part in an “original storyline” as you try to repair the broken timestream of the series. Sure, it was just a retelling of the source material, but there was some original content thrown in for good measure, by way of completely original characters and new match-ups. Super … Read More »
