With the ever expanding presence of camera phones and the internet, leaks happen.  It looks like someone from Gamestop may have snapped an image showing what might be the release date for Tekken 7.  Tekken 7 has been in arcades since 2015 but may be launching on 28 May 2017.  That isn’t very far away so it would be nice to get the next title in the classic fighting game franchise.  The leaked image is below and as someone who did nice work at a Gamestop does match the inventory system.  Is the image completely legit though we don’t know.  We will … Read More »

It was announced last month that Bandai Namco and New Japan Pro Wrestling would be joining forces for the upcoming Tekken 7, showing off a new King outfit based on the NJPW Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada. Turns out, the deal extends even further than that. A new trailer has revealed outfits for Bryan and Jack, showing them adorned in Bullet Club swag. If you don’t know who Bullet Club are, they’re a prominent wrestling faction that have been taking over “indie” wrestling for a couple of years. Members have included current WWE stars AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Luke Gallows and … Read More »

Tekken 7, the highly anticipated fighter from Bandai Namco, is due to launch in early 2017. Yesterday, Bandai Namco released a new trailer revealing that Kuma and Panda, perennial fan-favourites, will be among the Tekken 7 roster. The announcement was made in typical Tekken 7 style: “Kuma and Panda reunite and make their TEKKEN 7 debut! Who will it be, the Kuma Shinken master or Xiaoyu’s former bodyguard? The choice is unbearable!” What’s wrong, Bandai Namco, couldn’t come up with a Panda-based pun? We got the chance to go hands on with Tekken 7 when it made its UK Tournament debut … Read More »

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been something of a hit since it was launched in October but there has been a little bit of controversy regarding developer Bandai Namco’s support for the game. They went from saying that updates and content will be added for the first year to saying that the support will only extend for six months. Now it seems as if the developer has put this controversy behind it with the release of details regarding the first DLC pack. You can get this DLC pack as either part of the season pass or via an individual purchase … Read More »

If you were to tell the 13 year old me, sat playing Budokai Tenkaichi on the PS2, that one day I could play a Dragonball Z game where I could make my own character and interact with the events of the manga/anime, I’d have snapped your arm off quicker than an Instant Transmission. The original Dragonball Xenoverse struck a chord with many players by essentially being pure, unadulterated fandom wish fulfilment. Make your own character from one of five races, including Saiyan, Human, Namekian and whatever the hell Frieza and Buu are? Check. Insert yourself into famous battles, taking on … Read More »
