The wait may be a long and grueling road till the release of Tekken 7, scheduled currently for June 2nd. But we are getting more and more from the game in terms of trailers. The latest featuring pre-order fighter, Eliza. As well as this, Tekken 7 has joined the line up for Evo 2017. Eliza comes in the guise of a dark vampire with abilities including the summoning of supernatural powers to launch projectiles at her opponent, or, oddly, she can just drop to the floor and fall asleep. But enough of the talk, check out the gameplay trailer below: ... Read More »
Tekken 7, the highly anticipated fighter from Bandai Namco, is due to launch in early 2017. Yesterday, Bandai Namco released a new trailer revealing that Kuma and Panda, perennial fan-favourites, will be among the Tekken 7 roster. The announcement was made in typical Tekken 7 style: "Kuma and Panda reunite and make their TEKKEN 7 debut! Who will it be, the Kuma Shinken master or Xiaoyu's former bodyguard? The choice is unbearable!" What's wrong, Bandai Namco, couldn't come up with a Panda-based pun? https://youtu.be/VBsC89kpM8g We got the chance to go hands on with Tekken 7 when it made its UK Tournament ... Read More »

In our time so far at EGX we have played a boat load of fantastic games, one of the highlights so far for us is Little Nightmares. This immersive freaky title really adds the chill factor straight off the bat. Mechanically it is simple which allows you to focus more on the experience rather than button bashing, you play what seems like a young girl trying to survive from a rather ugly, fat chef thats preferred delicacy is kids!! The demo at the stand was quite short but all the team the managed a go agreed the same thing - ... Read More »
Tekken is one of the all time classics in the fighting game genre and rightfully so. Fans have been chomping at the bit for the next installment in the franchise for quite some time now and at E3 their wishes were, in part, granted. Tekken 7 is indeed on it's merry little way. At E3 details were few and far between and we were not given any real idea on when we could expect it to land on an Xbox near you. Well all that as changed, well almost. Reports are coming in from an insider at Bandai Namco Entertainment ... Read More »
In a meeting room at Namco’s main headquarters sits a whiteboard, and on that whiteboard is a spider diagram with the phrase “Making Pacman Great Again” residing in the middle. Sprouting from there are a wild collection of ideas including an animated series, a 3-D platformer tied into the animated series, a Telltale game and an appearance in Smash Bros. Executives are shouting, throwing paperwork at each other, one intern is pitching his gritty Pacman reboot, and all the while, one developer is playing Crossy Road on his phone. Guess where, in that narrative, did the inspiration for PAC-MAN 256 came ... Read More »
Project CARS is a racing game for racers. We could end the review there, but we won't. Project CARS takes the term racing simulator seriously, aiming to recreate the experience of racing on a real track against real opponents. At its core it is a racing game in its purest form. We reviewed the core game a year ago. "Project CARS is a simulation game at it’s very best, and racing fans who are used to painting their vehicles on games such as Forza, scoring a load of unlockables, or easily touching and tapping their way to the finish line ...
