Until this year the Assassin’s Creed franchise got a yearly release, the games came around just like Christmas. Earlier this year Ubisoft said that they were going to take a year off to work on revamping the franchise. This year Ubisoft announced that there won’t be a new installment to the famed Assassins Creed Franchise this year. But don’t you fear all you assassins out there because we may well have some really good news for you all. For the first time since the autumn of 2009, a big Assassins Creed game is not going to be released this year. Instead, the next big Assassins Creed is going to be released in 2017.
