It would seem that the latest victim of the "Oh no a retailer has leaked a game early" epidemic currently sweeping the gaming community world wide is the Game of the Year edition of Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Knight. The German off shoot of online retailing behemoth Amazon have listed the title on their site with a release date of 28th July 2016. With this title receiving the most mixed reviews of all the Arkham games then perhaps it is a little surprising that Arkham Knight is receiving a game of the year edition. However, featuring cover art that differs from that ... Read More »
Even Batman's technology has bugs sometimes The recent DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight was released this month, trouble is fans had something extra revealed to them in error. It seems as though Batman will become festive, only slightly but it is Batman after all. As seen in the picture below, the NOEL skin is clear to see in the June section for some strange reason. When people far cleverer than me with IT knowledge dug deeper into the PC files, it was saved under 'Merry Christmas' so it could well be a sneak peek at a Christmas bonus. These smart ... Today Warner Brothers Studios have announced what is in store for the August DLC pack, safe to say I already know what skin I would like to use (that sounded a-bit twisted). Season pass holders will be able to download two DLC's this august allowing you to have fun with your favourite caped crusader in a retro style. The first of the two is the ability to drive around Gotham in the Classic 1989 Batmobile with the hero's skin also available. While Rocksteady's closing Arkham title is receiving positive reviews the physical collector's editions of the game are seemingly not of the same standard. The Batmobile Edition of Batman: Arkham Knight was cancelled earlier this week due to quality concerns, and similar concerns have now delayed the Limited Edition. Yesterday, Amazon - the selected retailer in the UK offering the Limited Edition - sent out emails to customers stating that the edition "will be delayed as the manufacturer has advised us that there's been a packaging quality issue." Unlike the Batmobile Edition, however, customers will receive their Limited Edition eventually. "We want to ensure that your order reaches you ... Read More »

It seems to be becoming a tradition with the Arkham series of games that more pre-order skins and characters become available as time goes on and Arkham Knight seems to be following suit with their latest releases The two skins coming from Rocksteady's new "Gotham's Future Skin Pack" are Terry McGinnis' Batman Beyond outfit and Bruce Wayne's Dark Knight Returns outfit. The DKR outfit looks like it has fallen straight from the pages of the famous graphic novel but the Batman Beyond suit has been bulked up to look more like the Arkham Knight's suit. So far, the skins are ... Read More »
