Update version 1706 was released on the Xbox One Insider Program today and although it includes some cool features Microsoft was kind enough to make everyone aware that not all of planned features have been made available.  There is speculation that Microsoft are holding back a couple key features to allow for an announcement at E3 however only time will tell. The Alpha group who gets the most recent version of the Xbox One OS is getting some bug fixes.  It is available now for download and addresses bugs with Cortana as well as interaction with accessories.  See the full list of changes below! Xbox Accessories Resolved an issue which prevented “Portal” accessories used with games like Skylanders, LEGO Dimensions, and Disney Infinity from being recognized. The Xbox Accessories app Device Details page should no longer appear blank. Cortana Fixed an issue which sometimes prevented Cortana reminders from being created. id Software have announced that its Closed Multiplayer Alpha for the upcoming Doom title will be playable this weekend. The Alpha kicks off on Friday 23rd October at 12am EST / 5am BST and will end on Sunday 25th October at 11:59am EST / Monday 26th October 3:59am BST.
