Lately, rumours of the Xbox: Project Scorpio being ahead of schedule seem to have been picking up steam on the juggernaut that is the Internet rumour mill. There seem to be murmurings from the darkest corners of the world wide web that the Scorpio is well on target to meet Microsoft’s original release window. On that particular subject though there are more than just murmurs, the head honcho of Xbox himself, Phil Spencer, is less than quiet about how well the Scorpio team are doing. @RBeckerath I’m in a day long review of where the team is on Scorpio right … Read More »

Cuphead is a game that seems to stuck in an extremely unfortunate cycle of release date window announcements followed by an eventual delay of that release date. Inevitably that cycle has come full circle once more. Late yesterday StudioMDHR announced that Cuphead, originally due for release in 2015, has again been delayed. The title which the developer’s had hoped would see the light of day in late 2016 has now been pushed back to mi d-2017, the news came in the form of a blog post, some of which can be seen below. Throughout this year we discussed reducing the scope … Read More »

Next year we will see a reboot of the classic franchise Mighty Morphin’ Power Ranger with the release of a new film. Therefore it seems only apt that we should see a new video game to accompany this new reboot. A video game that was just announced at this year’s New York Comic-Con. For gamers like myself who grew up in the 90’s this fun new title is playing majorly on my nostalgia in more ways than one. The game has a classic side scrolling beat em up style with a power rangers skin. This game takes heavy inspiration from the … Read More »

At the tail end of every year the story is always the same for gamers. That may well be the case for Little Nightmares, so as a public service to you all we here at Xbox One UK are going to bring it to your attention. Being developed by Tarsier Studios and published by Bandai Namco the game already has a certain amount of credibility before we even know too much about it. Bandai Namco are obviously world renowned but … Read More »

With the anticipation of what Microsoft has up their sleeves with the “most powerful gaming console ever” aka Project Scorpio, we know very little about what we can expect from the console when it launches end of 2017.  Lucky for us though Microsoft’s Albert Penello shed some light on what developers are going to do with the monster hardware and what we can expect as well. Scorpio is known as the console that will be able to render 4K UHD (ultra high definition) graphics at an impressive 60 frames per second.  Does this mean every game on Scorpio is going … Read More »

The nostalgia-driven pixel-style art and core gameplay harkens back to the glory days of the franchise.  Leading the project is Austin Keys, director of … Read More »
