In its weekly update blog post, Destiny developer Bungie announced that players will soon be able to take advantage of several new weapon customizations, whilst also teasing the return of a popular seasonal event that involves your trusty sparrow. In an announcement on their twitter page, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare  publisher Activision confirmed that the second beta is now live on both platforms. The first beta just wrapped up its first multiplayer weekend (after extending it a day) and Activision has announced that the second round of beta testing is taking place over this coming weekend. Today we found that the current double XP bonus players are getting for playing Gears of War 4 will be extended. In a statement on the official Gears of War twitter, we found out that the double XP bonus will last until Tuesday. We've extended #GearsofWar4 Double XP until Tuesday! Last week head of Xbox division Phil Spencer met with Austrailian site PC Authority for an interview, with the main topic of conversation primarily focusing on Xbox’s latest initiative Xbox Play Anywhere. This new initiative is aiming to bridge the gap between gamers from both PC and Xbox communities. Xbox Play Anywhere is an initiative allowing  consumers to cross-buy their games, therefore allowing  you to play your games on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Yesterday saw the release of a new trailer for Bandai Namco’s upcoming game Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This trailer consisted entirely of gameplay and showed off an intense battle between SSGSS Vegeta and Black Goku. The announcement of Black Goku first came in the form of screenshots on the game’s official Facebook page here. This was then swiftly followed by the gameplay trailer seen above. Yesterday rumors were circulating about the firstDLC pack for Forza Horizon 3, all the speculation of which can be found here. Today however we finally got confirmation via the Forza Motorsport Twitter page of The Smoking Tire Car Pack. Which was accompanied by a trailer of some gorgeous gameplay that showed us every car that will be included in this car pack. October 5th will see the arrival of a new action puzzle game on the Xbox store, Castles. An indie collaboration between publisher Badland Games and developer Whoot Games, the aim of the game is simple: build the highest tower in the kingdom, matching blocks of materials and construction tools, whilst facing problems like weather and giant bosses. It has become the home for new updates and announcements relating to Minecraft and this year’s con has been no different.
