What a day Microsoft had unveiling Xbox One X, the official name of Project Scorpio.  One thing that a lot of Xbox fans though have been asking for is backwards compatibility to include titles from the first generation Xbox console.  Well Microsoft is now going to deliver on that request and announced during their E3 press conference that games from the original Xbox console will be available through backwards compatibility.  The newer hardware, especially the hardware in the beefy Xbox One X, will also improve performance and visuals on those original titles. So what games are going to be compatible?  ... Read More »

It's already known that Project Scorpio is set to be the most powerful console created. Microsoft is taking it a step further now by giving developers another gigabyte to work with from the systems 12 Gb system RAM.  Developers were given 8 out of the available 12 Gbs to use for their games with the rest dedicated to the console's operating system.  Now though, developers have 9 of the 12.  That's a large increase in the world of gaming. It's also been confirmed that those who don't use all of the system RAM won't go to waste. RAM that is ... Read More »
DONTNOD Entertainment have released the new trailer for their upcoming action RPG/bloodsucking simulator Vampyr, and wouldn't you just know it? We're all aboard the hype train. The trailer itself gives us more of an idea of the style and setting of Vampyr, taking us to the flu-stricken streets of 1918 London. If it's not disease or poverty that'll kill off the Londoners, it'll be the undead armies of the night of which you're a member. Playing as Dr Jonathan Reid, a famous surgeon and Great War veteran who was recently turned into a vampire against his will, you have to ... Read More »

Anyone remember Fortnite, the zombie survival game that Epic Games revealed in 2011? It was a blend of four player horde and fortress construction that looked cool but seemed to disappear as quickly as it came. Turns out, it's still kicking, and it's out next month. In a new gameplay trailer revealed in the run-up to E3, Fortnite shows off that same core concept, and how building your own outposts will help you conquer those pesky undead hordes, whether that shelter be a simple fort in the woods or a giant skull fortress with traps everywhere. Your imagination appears to ... Read More »
