Community Test Environments, or whatever synonym that developers decide to use for their game, are a staple of PC gaming, giving players the chance to test out upcoming patches and features, whilst giving the dev team a chance to eliminate bugs before the update is released upon the masses. In a bizarre turn of events, Electronic Arts have announced that they plan to remove FIFA 14 from the EA Access Vault on October 18th 2017, the same date that online service for the game will be discontinued. In an official statement from EA, they have cited a "unique circumstance" as the reason why this game will be removed, but haven't gone into details. A spokesman gave the following statement to GameSpot: "FIFA 14 is being removed from the Vault due to a unique circumstance specific to the title. A new update for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been launched today and although it is been touted as a small update it still comes in at around 1gb in size. This update contains nothing major but fixes quite a few bugs that have been irking players for a while now. The patch notes include the following: Veteran ranks of characters will only drop after all characters of that rarity have been unlocked to rank 10. After being announced earlier this year that Resident Evil Revelations would be receiving an Xbox One release, Capcom have officially confirmed that we can return to fear on August 29th 2017. Resident Evil Revelations was highly praised for delivering an experience more like the original trilogy as opposed to the latter titles being 4 - 6. Interestingly, the game started its life as a 3DS title before being ported to last gen consoles. After reporting that both two triple A titles were heading straight into the EA Access vault this summer a few weeks ago, we now have the first of these in our digital laps. The highly underrated and overlooked (thanks to its counterpart Battlefield 1) Titanfall 2 has officially landed in the vault for members to download as of today.
