With all of the hullabaloo of E3, one game seems to have fallen by the wayside somewhat: The Crew 2. Sure, Ubisoft and Ivory Tower's first effort was ambitious but ultimately bland and unremarkable, but this sequel seems willing to learn from its mistakes and try new things. Namely new vehicles. Give a warm... well, maybe not a warm welcome, but a jubilant one nonetheless, to Mr Sub Zero. There's a lot to be excited about for Xbox fans this year. On Sunday, at this year's E3 event, Microsoft's new console, the Xbox One X was announced. Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer confirmed that the console will still support virtual reality. On Tuesday, Spencer told CNET that the Xbox One X will fully support VR, and their prior commitment in regards to this hasn't changed. While Spencer didn't reference VR at this year's conference, he has let it be known that he still fully supports what he said at the past event. With Xbox One X due for release in November this year, it is said that it is to be the most powerful console ever to be made. The console is made to support 4K, with 60 FPS gaming on multiplatform and first-party games. The console will enhance the quality, and enrich the colour schemes throughout games, but with one game, that is not the case.
