This program means that developers can get their indie games onto the Xbox Store much easier. There is a much easier certification process that the games go through meaning that a lot of restrictions have been lifted. These games can be from developers large and small, the idea is to create more diversity. The people at Xbox wanted these games to be as accessible as possible but they listened to ... Read More »
Capcom have announced that their upcoming re-release of the fantasy RPG Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will be available on Xbox One from October 3rd. The game first launched back in 2012 on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 to generally positive reviews. Its Pawn system was quite interesting, as you made a second character who would both serve as an additional party member and could be loaned out to other players, earning experience and the like on their travels. This re-release will consist of the same content as the Dark Arisen PC port from last year, which included the base ... Read More »

The measure of an Xbox Gamer can usually be determined by the size of their gamerscore, at least for the most part. The system doesn't take into account those players who like the focus on one or a handful of games, but that could be changing soon. In an interview with YouTuber Rand al Thor 19 and Windows Central Senior Editor Jez Corden, Xbox Platform Corporate Vice President Mike Ybarra had a bunch of things to say about the future of the Xbox brand, and where the achievements system could be going in the future: "[W]e can do a lot ... The start of this month saw the much anticipated inclusion of Titanfall 2 in the EA Access Vault, but it would seem that August isn't quite finished depositing games to the Vault. Gamespot have reported that Battlefield 1 is now available in The Vault as part of an EA Access membership after seeing a thread on NeoGAF. We've also checked just to be sure, and can confirm that the game is ready to play right now. What's interesting about this is that there has been no word from EA as of yet regarding this. Last month, they did say that ... Read More »
Four more Xbox 360 games are now playable on your Xbox One, as tweeted by Major Nelson. And as usual, it's a mixed line up. In his first Tweet, Nelson revealed that Deadliest Warrior: The Game, Disney's Bolt and Sega Saturn Classic Fighting Vipers have all joined the back compat family. At which point this looked like it was shaping up to be another one of those 'meh' weeks. Of course Bolt would keep the kids entertained and Vipers would get the 32-bit retro nuts juices flowing. But then Nelson followed up with another tweet https://twitter.com/majornelson/status/894951503772954624 Leaving the best till ... Read More »
