Sea of Thieves, the latest title in development at Rare was revealed last year, and since then we have been treated with regular updates from the team. Rare have been extremely consistent with their communications to fans and the community so far but the latest developer gameplay diary had a special guest. Although there is no release date set for Sea of Thieves, we will no doubt hear a ... Read More »
Last year we got the sad news that Microsoft were closing Lionhead Studios and therefore putting a hold on the fan favourite franchise, Fable. This all happened while there was still a Fable game in the works, Fable Legends, meaning that game got cancelled when the studio closed. The last numbered Fable came that we got was Fable 3 but since then we have also had Fable Heroes and Fable: The Journey. This however may not be the end of the series. Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox was asked on Twitter about the possibility of a Fable 4 and ... Read More »
A week is a long time in the gaming world. Long has Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands held firm at the top of the Amazon best sellers list. Wildlands has taken a big tumble to 14th, whilst both the standard and Pro editions of CoD: WWII have taken the top two spots. Call of Duty, in fact, takes a stagger quarter of the top 20 with other titles making a strong showing. Elsewhere Prey and Injustice 2 have debuted as ... Read More »

It's fair to say that when the trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II dropped 2 weeks ago the internet's collective jaw dropped in wonder. Featuring in-game footage rendered using the Frostbite engine, (developed by EA DICE for Battlefield) and delivering "ooh & aah" moments aplenty, it could be argued that the 2mins 18secs of footage left us with as many questions as answers. While EA DICE are keeping wraps on most of what we want to know until EA Play in June, they have been so kind as to answer four of the most common questions that have been asked of ... Read More »
