I’m still ticked off about Scalebound being scraped. It was one of the few exclusives I was really looking forward to! With a lack of exclusives, what’s the point of choosing Xbox One over PS4? I used to be a PC-only gamer, but with Halo 3 I got dragged into the world of console gaming purely because of LAN parties. I liked the game so much that I got myself a 360. I decided to check out another few exclusives like “Left 4 Dead”, “Dead Rising”, and “Gears of War”. I loved them! It was also fun being able to … Read More »

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse has just recently been released for Xbox One. Fans of the show may want to pick up this hack n’ slash game set in the world of Remnant. While there are rumors that there may be some added content in the future, right now the new features added for Xbox One include a new storyline, new Grimm enemies, and a multiplayer system to co-op with your friends. The trailer also announces a team JNPR DLC! Play as Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, or Ren as you battle the Grimm and explore Merlot’s Island and battle endless hordes of Grimm. … Read More »

The developers of a Windows 10 app: Video 360; which allows you to view 360° videos on your device, have teased that the app may soon be coming very soon to Xbox One – as part of their UWP functionality. Currently, the app can be used on PC’s and Windows 10 mobile. The latter, allowing you to use the devices’  gyroscope features to control videos and you can even slot it into a Mobile VR headset – I’d like to see a headset released big enough to fit my original Xbox One in! Does this app interest you? What other … Read More »

After the announcement of Project Scorpio at last years E3, we have heard very little information on the console proposed to be the most powerful ever. But first, let’s have a look at what we do know. Aside from the specs, XBox’s Phil Spencer has previously gone on record to say that development is coming along smoothly and ‘ahead of schedule’. Those very words whet eager fans appetite with a potential release before Holiday 2017, as was touted at E3. That was seven months away and a lot has happened in the industry since then. Look at Sony who have in … Read More »

Unless you’ve been hiding behind a rock for the past decade, you will no doubt be aware that Telltale games are replete with choices, comic book-style graphics, and gripping story lines. They do just what it says on the tin – tell tales. Several years have passed since the second season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead graced us with its harrowing presence. And the third iteration, titled A New Frontier, reflects that gap as we return to the story of Clementine and her struggle for survival in The Walking Dead universe. However, as you pick up the story, you’re face … Read More »

Ubisoft are about to reveal the third expansion for Tom Clancy’s The Division. Titled The Last Stand, we can expect a full reveal tomorrow. In the mean time to tickle our taste buds, Ubisoft have dropped in a little teaser for us to get excited about. Check it out below! It’s safe to say The Division has undergone some dramatic changes since its launch, mainly down to player feedback and the community. The previous expansions have also be met with more praise than criticism so we here at Xbox One UK have our glasses half full that The Last Stand … Read More »

Brace yourselves, guys and girls, we’ve got a lot to get through. Yesterday, the new Story trailer dropped for the upcoming DC fighting game Injustice 2, which revealed new characters in the form of Brainiac, Bane, Robin and Poison Ivy, and an idea as to where the story is heading. Spoiler alert: it looks fantastic. We also saw that Darkseid will be a pre-order exclusive and that the game will ship on May 16th 2017. All of this makes up for the lack of information we’ve received about the game over the last couple of months, but it appears Netherealm … Read More »

There’s a lot of work going on right now as Rare quietly beaver away getting the finishing touches to the much anticipated Sea of Thieves. It would be fair to say the developer has changed dramatically since the glory days of the 90’s under Nintendo’s stewardship. But it is Sea of Thieves, a brand new IP, that could see a strong return to form for Rare. Transparency has been great in recent months during development, with regular updates through the ‘Inn-Side Story’. This time round, Executive producer Joe Neate and Community Manager Cameron Thomas talk about the use of player … Read More »
