Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will apparently release later this year. A couple of weeks ago Amazon’s Italian website showed Modern Warfare 2 remaster to release this spring, following similar treatment for the first Modern Warfare in 2016. Although one not so good rumour is it will ship with just the campaign mode and no multiplayer. Microsoft is launching its new Xbox Live Avatars next month. They first revealed the change to the avatars at their E3 press conference last year and were originally planned to become available to Windows 10 users by the end of 2017, but they missed the deadline. Microsoft’s Xbox employees already have access to the new avatars and Xbox Insiders will be able to preview them this month. The new avatars will be fully customizable from body type, clothing, and props. With all the rumors and a random leak on a train, Square Enix has finally confirmed the next chapter in Lara Crofts life, “Shadow of the Tomb Raider.” The company also announced the game’s release date as September the 14th. Square Enix states that this chapter will be “Lara Croft’s defining moment as she becomes the Tomb Raider.”  Not much is know about the game right now but a full trailer reveal has been dated for the 27th of April. Destiny 2: The Fallen Warmind originally code-named “Gods of Mars” is apparently the name of expansion II. A Reddit user under the name ProudSentient has leaked screenshots from Gamestop’s website. It states the expansion is going to be $20 (£15) and will take your guardian back to Mars. Bungie has confirmed that the expansion will release in this spring in the month of May. The launch of Rare’s pirate epic Sea of Thieves is releasing in a matter of days and something special is about to happen. Microsoft have announced its very own treasure hunt – “The Quest for the Golden Bananas.” Players are given a series of riddles to solve, culminating in a grand prize of a solid gold 18-carat bunch of bananas valuing at a whopping £80,000. Another week, another update for the battle royale juggernaut Fortnite. Version 3.3 will drop this Thursday bringing with it a few changes, Most notably smoke grenades are being removed and llamas will be added. Although the contents of the llamas have not yet been shown they can be interacted with the same way you interact with chests and ammo boxes. After weeks upon weeks of various rumors and one random basketball based tease, Activision and Treyarch have finally announced Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is releasing this October. Nothing else was revealed other than a forty second promo featuring gameplay from all previous Black Ops installments and that Treyarch will reveal more on May 17.     It’s going to be an interesting October as dropping the same month is Red Dead Redemption 2. Vikings, Knights, and Samurai. Alone all three are really cool and would easily make an awesome game, throw them all together and make them fight and you my friend have For Honor. Ubisoft officially rolled out dedicated servers to gamers on console platforms yesterday and it’s safe to say the community is happy.
