Warner Brothers Montreal was rumoured to have been working on a Suicide Squad game to tie-in with the movie but this has recently been announced as a cancelled project in order to focus on another Batman game featuring Damian Wayne. Apparently, WB Montreal had been working on the Suicide Squad title for two years, hoping to release it alongside the movie but nothing had ever been confirmed, although their last game Batman: Arkham Origins hinted at the possibility alongside Blackgate Origins, which also teased Suicide Squad was next on the agenda. The cancellation could be due to a rocky path that WB has ... Read More »
Recently, Treyarch posted a livestream on facebook discussing it's plans for Black Ops 3. Yes, that's right, plans for Black Ops 3, which was released back in November 2015. It's no surprise that Infinite Warfare has been poorly received and sales have fallen dramatically behind that of Black Ops 3; which Activision claim to be the best selling Call of Duty title on current generation consoles. It makes complete sense to continue support for a game that has the most active players, which is why Dan Bunting, head of the studio has announced it plans to continue support for the community ... Today marks the 300th* title to be added to the ever-growing list of Backwards Compatibility title. And what better way to celebrate with a collection (of sorts) as the long-overdue Bioshock titles get the Backwards Compatible treatment, as confirmed by Major Nelson himself via twitter. That's Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite to arrive today, after being teased a long time ago. https://twitter.com/majornelson/status/808718241619120128 As of recent times, Major Nelson seemed to be announcing them every Thursday, so it could mean we still might see some more Xbox 360 titles being released this week, or it could simply mean "Merry Christmas, that's your ... A bond between father and daughter is something rather special. A bond between child and dog is also quite unique. Pewter Games' The Little Acre shows us the true meaning of the relationship between parent, child and dog, as it sends us on a humorous, heart-warming journey to find a father missing between two worlds. The first thing you notice upon loading up the game is the beautiful and lovingly-crafted hand drawn animation, inspired by classic animated films like The Land Before Time, An American Tail, and All Dogs Go To Heaven, to name a few. These are unmistakeably films ... Read More »
Recently, Square Enix released a press release detailing what it has in store for the future of its epic RPG. The below is a transcript from the Japanese announcement as there has been no official announcement in English thus far, so there may be some slight translation errors. Final Fantasy XV was able to achieve a truly great milestone, shipping five million copies worldwide on its release day. I Would like to express my gratitude to the many who purchased it. "Currently, we have many players all ... Read More »

Are Activision trying to gain their fans back, and encourage them to return to the franchise? It seems like for the first time they've read A Christmas Carol and have taken a page from Scrooge's book. Not really known for limited events other than Double XP and 24/7 single map lobbies, the CoD publisher has decided to shower us with festive cheer this year, and offer some incentives to bring back the players since it's taken a hit from recent Call of Duty titles. Posted over at Activision's own blog, they've released some information on what they have in store for us this Christmas: ... Read More »
Load up Final Fantasy XV and "A Final Fantasy for fans and first-timers" is the first thing you will see. A broad statement and a proud boast, to be sure. Is it one developer Square Enix can live up to? Final Fantasy XV takes place in the land of Eos, following our protagonist Prince Noctis and his three friends: Gladiolus, Ignis, and Promptu as they embark on a dangerous and Daemon-filled road trip to fulfil Prince Noctis' destiny. However, things don't get off to a good start when their car breaks down, leaving the four friends to push it to the nearest petrol station. ... Another MOBA has entered our mists, this time it's Gigantic, a third person shooter. Gigantic is classed as "a hardcore 5v5 action for skilled gamers". An MOBA wouldn't be complete without its huge roster of characters, all with their own unique abilities and skills. Use weapons and spells to defeat your foes and come out on top, fighting enemy teams and summoning incredible creatures. Slightly different to other MOBA's, Gigantic requires you to work as a team building up power for your team's Guardian. Once earned, go GIGANTIC and squish the enemy team. Each character has their own unique skilltree that ... Read More »
