Everybody knows the Lego brand. Most gamers will know of the Lego games. Most of these games were traditionally based on franchises such as Harry Potter, Marvel and Star Wars, but now we have Lego City: Undercover, an open world Lego game that follows its own franchise. First released on the Wii U back in 2013, it has finally ported its way over to Xbox One, and what a welcoming addition to the Lego collection it is. The game opens up as Chase McCain arrives back in Lego City on a ship, after spending two years away for some 'training', ... Read More »

Mantis Burn Racing released last October, and since then, we've seen a few updates and crucial fixes to it's broken online multiple, and in March, it received its first set of DLC. There are two DLC's now available, both released together - one free and one paid; Snowbound and Elite Class. Considering the former is the free DLC, it packs a bunch of content. Firstly, we are treated to a whole new snow-themed setting with four brand new tracks to grind through: Research Base, Salvage, Silo and Crevasse. Each of the tracks set at different times of the day, giving ... Read More »

For a limited time, you can get your hands on the April Gears Pack, which includes Marcus Fenix. There are two versions of him to collect, along with a Marcus Fenix themed weapon skin. However, this pack is only available to purchase until Monday. After then, it's gone. However, opening this pack grants you to an increased chance of unlocking a V-Day Bernie earlier. If you don't manage to unlock her this way, there is an alternative way - by scrapping for salvage and using that to trade for her later this month. Here is what is included in the ... Read More »
It's been five years since our adventures with Commander Shephard. For most, it was a disappointing affair; having spending countless amount of hours only to have been delivered an abysmal conclusion to the series. We now have BioWare's next instalment: Mass Effect: Andromeda, set some 600 years later, so how does it fare up to its predecessor? Set in the year 2185, man (and Turian, Asarian, Salarian and Krogan) is boldly going where no man (or Turian, Asarian, Salarian or Krogan) has ever gone before - into a whole new galaxy, thanks to ancient technology discovered on Mars. We see ... Read More »
Today, EA have announced not one, or even two, but three titles coming to the vault soon, adding even more value to the EA Access subscription service. The major title to be added, which will be this month: and one I intentionally didn't purchase due to this reason, is FIFA 17. That's right, no more than 7 months since its release, and it's already becoming part of the permanent vault. In fact, they did the same thing with FIFA 16 around this time last year, so expect it to be a yearly tradition going forward. Along with FIFA 17, they're ... Read More »
Here, at XBOUK, we're quite fond of hidden object games, particularly Artifex Mundi ones. Maybe that's because they're the only hidden object games currently available or maybe because there are actually quite enjoyable. We can't decide. Either way, those good folks over in Poland are gracing us with not one, but two more titles from their huge catalogue. The first to be released, Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom will be available to download later this month, whilst the second title Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan, will be released sometime in June. It seems like they're keeping up their ... Read More »
Bethesda have announced today that its popular stealth game (although can be completed without being stealthy at all), will be releasing a trial - in case anybody has been on the fence about this title. Come 6th April, you will be able to download Dishonored 2 from the Xbox Store to gain access to the free trial. There is a catch though: The trial is only available this weekend and is limited to the first three missions of the campaign, playing as either Empress Emily Kaldwin or the Royal Protector, Corvo Attano. As tends to be the case with free ... Read More »
