Sega are a company who survived a long period of extreme financial turmoil in the late 90's and early 2000's. However, in a recent Road to 2020 business presentation, it seems the organisation may well be looking to resurrect some of their past IP's as they look to the future. Whilst we should of all been filling our boots with nostalgic Sonic juices by now, we have been treated to some new footage after the delay to Sonic Mania's release. The Flying Battery Zone featured in the 1994 smash hit, and some may say last great Sonic title, Sonic & Knuckles. The video below demonstrates a re-imagining of the Zone with our spiky haired friend, Knuckles the Echidna. The Amazon best selling list has seen another change in momentum for certain titles over the last week. On pre-orders alone, Injustice 2 which is released this Friday snags the top spot. You have to wonder how much longer the money machine that is GTA V can keep up its momentum. Currently at it's highest position for some time, it has been a stalwart regular in the top ten all year. In some respect, Prey has been a long time coming. Originally, the title was planned and announced as a sequel to the 2006 game by Human Head Studios, also known as Prey. However, development hell ensued during the following years. Mostly put down to the acquisition of the IP by Bethesda from 3D Realms. It wasn’t until eight years after its announcement that its cancellation was confirmed and all seemed dead and buried for Prey. A new Real Time Strategy title from developers Destructive Creations has been announced today for Xbox One and PC. Ancestors will be set in Medieval times where you will be able to make your way through Europe in a bitter campaign as one of four nations. You can take the reigns of either Viking, Anglo-Saxon, German or Slav as you aim to go beyond just conquering the lands through intense wars on the battlefield. Bioware have confirmed via the Mass Effect Andromeda Twitter page that the next large patch, 1.06, will be rolling out today. You can expected around an hour for the servers to be down whilst the patch is integrated which will effect multiplayer and strike teams. This is scheduled for 4pm (GMT). What we haven't received as of yet is full patch notes, however we do have a list of known issues Bioware are working on that could very well be included in update 1.06.
