Major Nelson is having a productive afternoon at Xbox HQ. Not content with releasing the list of February's Games With Gold, he has just announced another backwards compatible title has become available. And believe it or not, it's a full disc release game. Announced via Twitter, Alice: Madness Returns joins the line up. The quirky sequel to the cult PC game American McGee's Alice was originally release back in 2011 to favorable reviews across the board. And if you're lucky enough to own a copy, you can now dust her off and revisit Wonderland. Being an EA game, I wouldn't ... Read More »
Xbox's Major Nelson has today revealed the line up for February's Games with Gold via Twitter, and it's shaping up to be a decent month of freebies! For Xbox One we have Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. With respectably high scores on Metacritic ,they billed this oddly named title as a two-player micro platformer where you are bound within a neon spaceship. Not your cup of tea? Then how about the highly rated Project Cars! This will be available from the second half of the month. Backward compatible and 360 fans are also in for a treat during February. For the first two ... After the announcement of Project Scorpio at last years E3, we have heard very little information on the console proposed to be the most powerful ever. But first, let's have a look at what we do know. Aside from the specs, XBox's Phil Spencer has previously gone on record to say that development is coming along smoothly and 'ahead of schedule'. Those very words whet eager fans appetite with a potential release before Holiday 2017, as was touted at E3. That was seven months away and a lot has happened in the industry since then. Look at Sony who have in ... Read More »
Unless you’ve been hiding behind a rock for the past decade, you will no doubt be aware that Telltale games are replete with choices, comic book-style graphics, and gripping story lines. There's a lot of work going on right now as Rare quietly beaver away getting the finishing touches to the much anticipated Sea of Thieves. It would be fair to say the developer has changed dramatically since the glory days of the 90's under Nintendo's stewardship. But it is Sea of Thieves, a brand new IP, that could see a strong return to form for Rare. Transparency has been great in recent months during development, with regular updates through the 'Inn-Side Story'. This time round, Executive producer Joe Neate and Community Manager Cameron Thomas talk about the use of player ... Read More »
