Today, Wizard Fu has announced that Songbringer will be released on Xbox One on 1st September 2017. The game (described as a "procedural action RPG") was funded on Kickstarter back in May 2015, with a beta version made available on Steam back in February 2016. It carries a pretty clear Zelda inspiration with it and features a procedurally generated world - players enter a number at the beginning of the game which will generate a world that is unique to that number, meaning that you can provide the number to a friend so that they can have the same experience ... Today, Bandai Namco has teased its latest game - Projekt #1514 with a short, 30 second trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZY4_pM7N4o The game is being developed by Japanese dev team Dimps - best known recently for Street Fighter V and several Dragon Ball Xenoverse games. The trailer shows what appear to be post-apocalyptic buildings with gunshots audible in the background - it certainly looks a long way removed from the studio's most recent output. Details are thin on the ground for the moment with no-one knowing for certain even what kind of game it will turn out to be. It looks interesting though - ... Read More »
According to an article published by Kotaku this morning, the answer appears to be... quite possibly. Okami is a PS2-era classic that was remastered into full HD for a PS3 release in Japan all the way back in 2012. That version of the game was only ever made available as a digital download - but all evidence is pointing to the next release of the game being physical, across multiple platforms, and coming soon (by games industry standards, at any rate). Long before that though, it was a cult classic due in no small part to its outstanding cel shaded, ... Read More »

In a tweet this afternoon, Bungie has revealed the latest trailer for the highly anticipated Destiny 2 - this time, the Crucible is the area of focus. https://twitter.com/DestinyTheGame/status/894951476597989377 The trailer takes the time to highlight the different classes and their abilities, and does a fine job of showing the chaos of the multiplayer element of the game. Eagle-eyed Destiny fans may also notice early in the trailer a rocket launcher being fired that looks rather like the fabled Dubious Volley - a weapon that has been rumoured for a long time. It looks like guardians are finally going to get ... Read More »
