So it seems there are many things going down in the world of Battlefield Hardline this month in an attempt to revitalize the online multiplayer in what could be viewed as one of the less successful titles in the Battlefield series. The recently released "Battlefield Hardline January Rap Sheet" goes into extensive detail on the various events and goings on in the EA game this month which include free battlepacks, double XP events and perhaps most importantly the release of a new DLC called "Battlefield Hardline: Getaway" Full details can be seen below: "The Dates January Battlefield Hardline: Getaway Release ... Fragments of Him is an interactive narrative experience scheduled for release in 2016. The title comes from relatively new studio SassyBot (formerly known as SassyBot Studio). The bulk of what's known about the title can be taken from the game's official site (here), such as the below: "When a young man dies suddenly, his friends and family are left to pick up the pieces. What were his last thoughts, what were the moments in which he changed their lives, and how will their lives be without him? Fragments of Him is an interactive narrative experience. I have good news and bad news and then more good news. The first lot of good news, there's a new game on the backwards compatibility list. The bad news, it's isn't Black Ops 1. The second lot of good news is it's DiRT Showdown and it's free so that's something. To download this for your Xbox One console simply head over to the Xbox store here. Now initially it may appear that they want to charge you full price however if you click where it says "Buy Game £11.99" it'll come up as free, simply select buy and then head to "My ... Read More »
To say that the latest Rainbow Six title Rainbow Six: Siege hasn't been a rousing success could be seen as an understatement by many. The title has had numerous issues, not all of them the same, during it's Alpha, Beta and full release stages. However perhaps the most prominent of these issues is the problem with the games servers, which let's be honest are pretty crucial to a title that is primarily online based. The mid-December patch that was released earlier this month was meant to address a lot of the issues, including the server problems, and it may have ... Read More »
Bungie recently released their year end update after what I'm sure many of us, mainly the Destiny addicts, would consider a successful 2015. Amongst other things this year saw the release of The Taken King which is seen as what Destiny should have been from the start by fans and critics of the franchise alike. As well as The Taken King, year two saw some other introductions from Bungie, some that were enjoyed (SRL), some that were fun but didn't really captivate anyone (Festival of Light) and some that downright annoyed certain people (looking at you microtransactions). Yet despite all of ... Read More »
