Today, around 5pm UK time to be precise, an update will roll out for Gears of War Ultimate Edition and it's a hefty one. The update, which is expected to weigh in at around 5GB, is mandatory and brings with it a pretty comprehensive list of fixes as well as a new special event. On the 18th of this month the dust settled and the winners of the DICE Awards prestigious game of the year awards were announced. Bethesda cleaned up at the awards, claiming the coveted Game Of The Year title, as well as taking the Best Role Playing Game and Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction Award all for their behemoth title Fallout 4. With the imminent release of Rocket League (this coming Wednesday in fact) it's pretty exciting to learn that developer Psyonix aren't completely opposed to the idea of increasing the max player count above the current cap of 8 (4 v 4), although they've said this would only happen if they designed bigger arenas to accommodate more players. With the release of Rocket League now less than a week away it seems only fitting that we get some new media to get us even more hyped that the game is finally finding it's way to Xbox One.
