Vault Dweller! War might not change, but the post-apocalyptic nuclear wasteland just got a whole lot more cubic... Minecraft devs Mojang have announced that a mash-up pack to the popular RPG Fallout will be coming to consoles at some point in the near future. Like all mash-up packs, this appears to be a Minecraft shaped love letter to the game in question. For the low price of $5,99 (probably about £4.50 here if compared to other mash-up packs), you'll get 44 Fallout themed skins including fan favourite characters like Nick Valentine and the Vault Boy himself, a whole new map ... A new trailer has dropped for Ubisoft's upcoming melee brawler For Honor, detailing the much anticipated campaign mode and the mysterious Warlord Apollyon. The trailer, which you can check out for yourself below, sees the aforementioned Warlord run down the three factions in the game; the Knights, the Vikings and the Samurai, and basically call them weak for not seeking constant war. How dare they want peace, they're in a video game! The rest of the trailer shows how successful Apollyon has been at playing all 3 factions against each other. Clearly, the finale will be all the factions uniting ... Read More »
If you look closely, the real story of Dead Rising 4 is Frank West’s struggle with that Benjamin Button disease. It's a disease that seems to have spread amongst the gaming universe as a whole, and one that can be traced back to Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher. Now Frank, who is supposedly in his 50s during the events of Dead Rising 4, looks much healthier and younger than he did during his appearance in Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. I can't wait for Dead Rising 5 which shows Chuck Greene as an actual baby. It's also a tale of ... Read More »
No, the top answer is not Microsoft. Stop asking… *ahem*. Being corporate in a videogame and in real life are two vastly differing experiences. One experience deals with unleashing a zombie virus on an unsuspecting American town and the other one is a videogame. But enough about my new vocation, let's talk about some videogame corporate evil. With the CEO often being a maniacal despot with a scientific budget that'd make Apple, Microsoft and Google blush, the stage is set for some truly insane enterprises. Here are five on Xbox One. Tekken - Mishima Zaibatsu In any discussion regarding psychotic Chief ... Read More »
Ahhhh, to be a pirate! Setting sail on open waters without a care in the world. Until you encounter a game breaking bug of some kind. That's never fun, and it's something Rare are hoping to avoid with their upcoming Sea of Thieves. With that in mind, Rare have announced that next weekend, from December 16th, will play host to the first of a series of scheduled technical playtests, with the aim of refining core features and determining the direction that the development takes. Of course, not everyone can be a part of this technical alpha. Oh no no, this ... Read More »

Welcome back to Xbox One UK's regular reflection; where we take a look at the list of Xbox 360 titles that became backwards compatible in the last month, and try to point out a couple of highlights. I know what the top game of last month was. You know what the top game of last month was. It was pretty much a foregone conclusion when that game was announced, but there were some other highlights during the month of November. Honourable Mentions The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion The Xbox 360’s first premier RPG title, Oblivion was the game that made ... Read More »
Two hours into my Furi play session, the music is pounding through the LS20 LucidSound Amplified Headset, my eyes fixated on the screen in attempt to conquer the challenges that lie ahead. The headphones have immersed me so much that I fail to notice my mother entering my room to tap me on the shoulder… Looks like I need a new pair of pants to go with this headset. The LS20 is the latest headset to come from the recently formed LucidSound. We've reviewed their other product, the LS30, and we were rather fond of it. So hopes were high ... Read More »
