It’s been a long while since we’ve heard anything concrete about the upcoming Injustice 2. Almost 4 months, to be precise. No character reveals, no story details. Zip. Nada. Zero. Things could be about to change, however, as IGN recently got some hands-on time with the sequel to the popular 2013 DC fighting game, and it would seem that some of the cast have gone through some cosmetic changes. Fighting game hype man and prominent YouTuber Maximilian Dood released a video comparing some changes to both Supergirl and Wonder Woman. Both characters were criticised by fans for looking… odd, in … Read More »

Perhaps you were on the naughty list and you weren’t getting one anyway. Still, sometimes it’s best to take matters into your own hands. Luckily, the post-Christmas/Boxing Day Sales have arrived, allowing you to put all those gift cards you received from aunties and uncles to good use. So if you’re looking to buy a new Xbox One S, or just upgrade from your old Xbox One, now is the time to do … Read More »

Christmas Day is tomorrow! Soon, you’ll be able to see what Santa has left for you underneath a tree decked in tinsel, lights and all other manners of gaudy nonsense. Me, I’ll be sat inside with a glass of Captain Morgan’s watching John McClane shoot Hans Gruber out of the window of Nakatomi Plaza. The Bates household has the best Yuletide traditions. Yippee Ki Yay, Father Christmas. Still, that magical box of wonders sat next to your TV, or Xbox One if you prefer, contains a whole manner of activities to help celebrate Christmas. Let’s take a look at some … Read More »

Hackers! Feel like taking on San Francisco in an armoured school bus that would put some armies to shame? Of course you do, you’re only human after all. Ubisoft have revealed the first Season Pass add-on for Watch Dogs 2, The T-Bone Content Bundle, which as you might imagine is focused on the man himself. The DLC includes an armoured school bus, which should turn every downtown commute into a destruction derby real quick, a T-Bone Costume Set, a new Mayhem co-op challenge and a whole new enemy type – the Grenadier. If that all sounds like great fun to … Read More »

Vault Dweller! War might not change, but the post-apocalyptic nuclear wasteland just got a whole lot more cubic… Minecraft devs Mojang have announced that a mash-up pack to the popular RPG Fallout will be coming to consoles at some point in the near future. Like all mash-up packs, this appears to be a Minecraft shaped love letter to the game in question. For the low price of $5,99 (probably about £4.50 here if compared to other mash-up packs), you’ll get 44 Fallout themed skins including fan favourite characters like Nick Valentine and the Vault Boy himself, a whole new map … Read More »

A new trailer has dropped for Ubisoft’s upcoming melee brawler For Honor, detailing the much anticipated campaign mode and the mysterious Warlord Apollyon. The trailer, which you can check out for yourself below, sees the aforementioned Warlord run down the three factions in the game; the Knights, the Vikings and the Samurai, and basically call them weak for not seeking constant war. How dare they want peace, they’re in a video game! The rest of the trailer shows how successful Apollyon has been at playing all 3 factions against each other. Clearly, the finale will be all the factions uniting … Read More »

If you look closely, the real story of Dead Rising 4 is Frank West’s struggle with that Benjamin Button disease. It’s a disease that seems to have spread amongst the gaming universe as a whole, and one that can be traced back to Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher. Now Frank, who is supposedly in his 50s during the events of Dead Rising 4, looks much healthier and younger than he did during his appearance in Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. I can’t wait for Dead Rising 5 which shows Chuck Greene as an actual baby. It’s also a tale of … Read More »

No, the top answer is not Microsoft. Stop asking… *ahem*. Being corporate in a videogame and in real life are two vastly differing experiences. One experience deals with unleashing a zombie virus on an unsuspecting American town and the other one is a videogame. But enough about my new vocation, let’s talk about some videogame corporate evil. With the CEO often being a maniacal despot with a scientific budget that’d make Apple, Microsoft and Google blush, the stage is set for some truly insane enterprises. Here are five on Xbox One. Tekken – Mishima Zaibatsu In any discussion regarding psychotic Chief … Read More »
