Razer today revealed its new controller for the Xbox One. The company’s Xbox One controller, the Wildcat is “a pro-gamer-validated, tournament-grade, console controller.” According to Razer, the Wildcat is 20% lighter than the other console controllers. However, the main feature of the Wildcat is its wide range of customizations — kind of like the Xbox One Elite Controller, which is also built for pro-gamers. Electronic Arts has officially confirmed the launch date for the long-awaited FIFA 16 free demo, as the trial is set to roll out starting September 8 across Xbox One, and Xbox 360 platforms. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be launching with a companion app for Xbox One. According to Konami, the Phantom Pain companion app will function similarly to the Ground Zeroes app, giving players access to Snake’s iDroid and allowing them to view the in-game map during play. The app will show more of the map than on the game screen. Today Xbox announced a partnership with V8 Supercars Australia that will bring 10 cars from all five manufacturers in the current V8 Supercar series into Forza Motorsport 6 with 2015 liveries – a first for the franchise.
