VideoLAN‘s famed media player VLC player has been on Xbox One for a short amount of time and is starting to change they way you watch videos on Xbox One.  VLC 3.0 is set to release on November 30th for it’s main platform but will be coming to Xbox One shortly after.  The newest feature of the 3.0 will be the ability to watch 360 degree videos and photos.  Spherical images are also going to be supported which is the next step towards a full VR video player on the home console. Santa Claus is coming to town in the world of Overwatch as newly discovered audio files in the games files has a Christmas themed version of the game’s theme.  This seems to point in the direction of a Christmas themed event upcoming in the Blizzard MOBA.  Makes you wonder what else they have planned.  Maybe lootboxes as presents.  Reinhardt as Santa Claus would be fun.
