PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has sold a ton in it’s early access phase on Xbox One but has suffered from a ton of issues from not being optimized for the home console as frame rates dip even below 20 FPS at times.  This typically has only happened in the early moments of each game but still can hurt the overall experience. The good news is that the Xbox One X version performs slightly better, with improved textures and draw distances.  Microsoft previously reminded fans that Xbox Game Preview releases are a work-in-progress.  Microsoft had this to say about the issues players have … Read More »

So let’s face it, Bungie has messed up on the launch of Curse of Osiris for Destiny 2. It has been a general consensus with the player base that bungee has offered very little in this DLC and have locked too many casual things behind a paywall that were readily available in the first Destiny game as part of the regular experience. Outside of the amazing raid lair, there isn’t much else outside of very little story and more repetitive gameplay. Bungie is now though seeing their errors and trying to fix them as best they can. Today Destiny 2 … Read More »

When most people think of hockey they think of hard-hitting, cross-checking, and all out brawls that provide intense action as well as some “purity” to the sport.  Bush Hockey League does its best to offer these in a retro feel of the early 1990’s however, failed to provide a functioning and usable experience. With so much focus on being corny and cheesy, developer V7 Entertainment misses on the biggest key in game making which is gameplay. Welcome to the Bush Hockey League. Here you take control of the Hinto Brews. It is your duty to build the Brews up into … Read More »

The holiday season is in effect with major titles now starting to hold the tops spots last week in the charts.  GTA V gained ground back into the top 10 as well.  Look for Destiny 2 to possibly gain some ground back with the launch of their Curse of Osiris DLC launching tomorrow. Instead of the third and final livestream for the Curse of Osiris DLC, Bungie decided to address a lot of the concerns of the hardcore playerbase that is a part of Destiny 2.  It was a way for Bungie to show they do care about what their fans have to say but with how close the DLC is compared to the initial launch, there really wasn’t enough time to make large sweeping changes.  With that however though, here is what Bungie has been up to: Upcoming Updates Overview We previously published a list of upcoming Destiny 2 improvements we want to deliver. … Read More »

Back in 2003, developer Future Games introduced us to The Black Mirror. It was a third-person point and click adventure that was based around horror themes and mystery. Developer KING Art is rebooting the classic for modern-day consoles with Black Mirror. This newest adaptation takes place years before the original game. What was made to be a continuation of the horror and mystery leaves players wondering if the real horror and mystery is the overall finished quality of the game itself.  With what has amazing promise is marred by development issues as well as some jarring animations. Black Mirror puts … Read More »

Back at E3 when it was announced that PLAYERUNKNOWN’S Battlegrounds would be coming to Xbox One, it was a large jump for the console community to have the opportunity to be a part of a large open world environment with so many other players.  On top of that, the game will be taking advantage of the Xbox One X as well as the Xbox One S giving players who own those consoles access to beautiful HDR color.  With that though like all games we have to consider how much space a game is going to steal from our hard drives. Well … Read More »

Back when the most recent console generation shift happened, Xbox One players got their hands on Assassin’s Creed Unity which was the first title in the series for the new hardware.  However, back when Unity came out, another title for Xbox 360 came out called Assassin’s Creed Rogue which appears that it might be getting some polish put on it for a re-release. A Twitter account know as AccesstheAnimus has found that several Italian online retailers have posted sales pages for Assassin’s Creed Rogue for Xbox One.  Seeing as Assassin’s Creed Origin’s has gotten the full 4K and HDR treatment … Read More »
