Massive today sat down with their normal “State of the Game” stream to talk about what they have learned from Tom Clancy’s The Division update 1.4 and what they plan on doing for 1.5  Update 1.4 has definitely done a lot of good for The Division but as with any game, exploits and issues may occur when you make changes.  Luckily, Massive actually seems pretty on top of it for once. The first thing that was address is the farming of the Clear Sky incursion for phoenix credits.  With the introduction to world tiers, players who are fully geared for ... Read More »
UPDATE: The Vosik challenge is to activate all 4 rooms using SIVA charges.  Pretty simple but it appears all 4 rooms have to be used. It's time to put your big boy, or girl, pants on guardians and take the fight again to the Wrath of the Machine raid.  Challenge mode is now live with the first being the Vosik fight.  What exactly the rewards are and what the challenge is we don't know yet but will update when we get more info.  Early reports on Reddit are that you have to throw and hit Vosik with all the SIVA charges however ... I was one of the biggest fans of Tom Clancy's The Division from the start.  Starting with the beta and all the way to current day, I've always wanted this game to save me from my Destiny addiction.  Through its life however, The Division has had it's issues through glitches/exploits and gameplay balancing but overall the bones of the game are strong.  With the recent patch 1.4, all this was supposed to be fixed and it truly is.  However though, the game experience is very broken and unfortunately there is nothing that Massive can do to fix it. The other night ... Read More »
We have all had dreams or imagined as a child our toys coming to life.  What type of personality would they have or who they could be? Toy Odyssey: The Lost and Found takes that idea and creates a stellar action based 2D platformer with rich story and RPG mechanics.  With so much going on, it's easy to get overwhelmed, but makes you eager to continue. I guess the folks at Bungie thought a change was needed for Trials of Osiris this weekend.  No, it isn't dedicated servers - I wish it was too.  This week's map is Cauldron and to make things more interesting, there are no revives and no mini map.  Essentially Trials will be Inferno style but without revives as well.  We are eager to see how this will work but we see this playing out as a shotgun sitting in the corner waiting feeding frenzy. How do you feel about the changes?  Let us know in the comment section below! Make sure ... Read More »
For those that have been living under a rock and were not aware, Destiny's Festival of the Lost is back again for the Halloween time frame.  For the next 2 weeks guardians are given quests revolving around wearing masks and collecting candy by doing activities.  As an overall event though, is it even worth participating. Festival of the Lost only requires that you own Rise of Iron and is a free event for you to participate in.  There is nothing to gain to make your guardian more powerful but does provide simply "something to do."  The masks are neat although ... Even though the rerelease of Skyrim isn't until 28 October, Bethesda is already accepting mods for the upcoming hit.  They are also taking way more mods on Xbox One than they are on PS4. Currently there are at least 65 mods available for Xbox One on Bethesda.net listings however only 10 on PS4.  All of the PS4 mods are also on Xbox One. One of the biggest reasons for the discrepancy is due to Sony limiting modders to only tweaking current features.  Microsoft is allowing for on changes to mechanics.  With this freedom, Xbox modders will have a total of ... Who hasn't ever wanted to be a ninja?  Having the skills in combat as well as the grace needed to move about without ever being seen - that would be amazing. Kyurinaga's Revenge is a 2D platformer that allows you to take the role of one two ninja warriors in a pursuit to top an evil warlord.  While it is a true-to-form platformer, it doesn't quite offer the full-on ninja experience.  At least not without limitations. In Kyurinaga's Revenge you play as Kaoru and Broccoli - one is an onion and the other is well... broccoli.  Kyurinaga's war machine took a decisive blow right after ... Read More »
