We all have heard the cliche of the New Year - "New Year, New You."  Well it looks like the folks at The Coalition are taking it to heart with title update 3 for Gears of War 4.  There are a couple of focus points on this update but a big part of it is punishing those rage quitters in online games as well as the normal fixes.  Here is what The Coalition had to say about their plan to reduce the amount of people who quit in the middle of games: Combatting quitting has been a top priority for us at ... Conan is a symbolic figure in a near prehistoric world where only might can help you survive.  The cunning of a building a base and fortifying it with everything to survive is just as key as the might you wield.  Funcom's Conan Exiles is looking to bring that world to life and is really starting to show some promise. In the style of Ark: Survival Evolved you will need to survive by gathering food and supplies while building a fortress worthy of the finest warriors.  This in depth building mechanic will immerse you into a world unlike any other and ... What a way to bring in the new year than with video games.  They are always there when we need them and over time it just seems to get better and better.  How much longer do Xbox fans have to wait for that next best thing though?  It might not be very long at all. Once the new year hit, many Xbox heads went to Twitter and have been spewing out 2017 as the year of Scorpio.  Now we have been given very little information on the "most powerful console of all time" but there is reason to believe all ... The hardcore gaming elite know that quality is everything in a game.  Not only how well the gamer itself is but how does it run.  With newer, upgraded versions of current generation consoles coming, console gamers are eager to see a consistent 60 frames per second and possible 4K graphics.  Microsoft is trying to make it easier to obtain through universal apps and play anywhere. Backwards compatibility, Play Anywhere, and new hardware are allowing games that weren't made for these newer consoles to thrive on better hardware.  Tomb Raider has allowed so much customisable options for frame rate, graphics, and ... Remember back in 2015 when Capcom announced that there will be a current gen remake of Resident Evil 2?  Well, we are about to hit 2017 and Resident Evil 7 is set to release next month and we know nothing new about the classic remake.  Capcom and RE2: Remake's producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi may have tipped his hand a bit on when we will see something of the upcoming remake. In an interview with VideoGamer, Hirabayashi spoke about the experiences he learned from the previous games and how Capcom is focused on RE7 while his team is working on the remake of RE2. ... Hironobu Sakaguchi probably isn't a name that when you hear it, you already know who he is.  In a world where pop culture icons in music and movies run mainstream, Hironobu Sakaguchi is a name where we personally get excited when we hear it.  For those unaware he is the original creator of Final Fantasy. Now, Sakaguchi no longer works for Square but still has used his uncanny ability in creating great RPG's to good use.  He was the driving force behind classics such as Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey.  In a recent interview with Japan's 4Gamer, he has stated that he ...
