Bungie held yet another stream to hype up there big DLC release Forsaken coming in September for Destiny 2. With today’s stream being focused on the sandbox and how combat will function in the upcoming release. Here is some highlights from today stream: Some changes will arrive early on 28 August. A key focus for weapon drops in forsaken is that each drop feels exciting and new. The craze of survival shooting with a touch of betrayal has taken off thanks to the likes of DayZ.  Well developer of DayZ, Bohemia Interactive, their latest in survival shooting is now available to play through Xbox Early Access and it’s called Vigor. Vigor takes place in a post nuclear detonation zone in central Europe.  With a focus on survival through gathering materials as well as crafting, it is the goal to build their shelter as best they can.  The shelter mechanics appear to be a main focus on overall progression. With E3 in full swing, Bungie didn’t pull any punches when they revealed the death of Hunter Vanguard Cayde-6 in Destiny 2’s Forsaken DLC (you’re a dead man Uldren BTW).  During the show, players have had a chance to play the new PvEvP mode Gambit as well.  During these tests, known Destiny YouTuber MesaSean asked one of the Bungie developers what the new character and level caps are and he actually got an answer. Battle Royale games are taking the world by force and it’s no shock that since Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is going to have a battle royale mode that Battlefield V will as well.  There is no mention on if it will be the 100 player experience so many are used to however.  EA did state though that the mode will utilize team play, vehicles, and destruction for an experience they claim you haven’t gotten before in Battlefield or any other game.
