Fans of this year’s monster hit Doom from Bethesda Softworks have just some received some fantastic news. In a new update that has been released, the game has received a whole new single-player score-attack mode. Being dubbed Arcade mode, this update changes Doom’s single-player campaign into a series of challenges allowing players to compete with each other and climb those leaderboards. In its weekly update blog post, Destiny developer Bungie announced that players will soon be able to take advantage of several new weapon customizations, whilst also teasing the return of a popular seasonal event that involves your trusty sparrow. The latest post from “This Week at Bungie” showed fans images of several of the new exotic weapon ornaments for weapons such as Bad Juju, Red Death, and Thorn. In an announcement on their twitter page, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare  publisher Activision confirmed that the second beta is now live on both platforms. The first beta just wrapped up its first multiplayer weekend (after extending it a day) and Activision has announced that the second round of beta testing is taking place over this coming weekend. Today we found that the current double XP bonus players are getting for playing Gears of War 4 will be extended. Last week head of Xbox division Phil Spencer met with Austrailian site PC Authority for an interview, with the main topic of conversation primarily focusing on Xbox’s latest initiative Xbox Play Anywhere. This new initiative is aiming to bridge the gap between gamers from both PC and Xbox communities. Xbox Play Anywhere is an initiative allowing  consumers to cross-buy their games, therefore allowing  you to play your games on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Yesterday saw the release of a new trailer for Bandai Namco’s upcoming game Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This trailer consisted entirely of gameplay and showed off an intense battle between SSGSS Vegeta and Black Goku. The announcement of Black Goku first came in the form of screenshots on the game’s official Facebook page here. This was then swiftly followed by the gameplay trailer seen above.
