Hitman 2: Sniper Assassin Review

HITMAN 2 was recently announced and has been set for a release this coming November. IO Interactive has been kind enough to let everyone play a taster of what is to come. Pre-ordering HITMAN 2 will grant you access.

Being only one level don’t expect a huge amount of depth like the main game but with that, it is great fun and well worth a look if you’re a fan of Season 1. You take control once more of Agent 47 but this time, instead of getting up close and personal you have positioned yourself on a nearby cliff edge. Similar to HITMAN Absolutions Sniper challenge you are tasked with taking out a certain amount of people from a vantage point with your trusty sniper rifle, this time at a wedding, killing three targets and all of their bodyguards.

With tight gameplay that is easy to learn but hard to master, you will be popping enemies heads left right and center, never forgetting to account for bullet drop.

Now something brand new to the HITMAN universe still in beta but it is the inclusion of a Co-op mode, you and a buddy get to join forces and the pair of you have to coordinate your shots to take out two guards/targets. As the map is so big, there’s plenty of replayability here, but it is only one level. So it is more than possible to get 2 – 3 hours of play including Co-op. All we can say is roll on November so we can play the full game.

To get Access to HITMAN Sniper Assassin you will need to Pre-order HITMAN 2.
