Xbox One Gifting Comes To PC

Gifting launched on Xbox One last year and yesterday Microsoft announced that digital PC games in the Microsoft Store and downloadable content are now eligible for gifting. At launch, only Xbox One digital games could be gifted.

Memberships to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold can be gifted as well. “This feature has been a huge hit with our fans and has made buying presents for friends and family even easier, especially around the holidays,” Microsoft said in their blog Post.

Keep in mind though If the content you want to gift is on sale, you can only purchase two games or items as gifts in a 14-day period. Unfortunately, you are unable to bulk buy a particular product but remember there is no limit for gifting full-price items.

Also Gifting only works with Xbox One and PC games, not Xbox 360 or original Xbox games and pre-orders or consumable DLC is also off limits for gifting so in came currency is a No – No.
