Their tweet includes a short teaser video detailing the event, which is being streamed live from LA, will feature a world gameplay reveal, behind the scenes information, and “additional declassified intel”.
The event is scheduled for 17th May at 10am PDT (6pm UK time) and can be streamed via Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and the game’s official website – which has a handy countdown timer to keep you right.
Recently there has been some rumours surrounding Black Ops 4 suggesting there may be an absence of a single player campaign this time around, which would make this the first game in the franchise not to include the blockbuster campaigns the series has become known for. These rumours also suggest that the game will contain the fan-favourite Zombies mode alongside a Battle Royal mode (which would be a first for the series).
It’s highly likely that we’ll have a more definitive idea of what we can expect from the latest instalment in the Call of Duty saga when it releases on October 12th, two weeks before the release of Red Dead Redemption 2.
