Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Coming To Xbox One
Last year one of the surprise hit games was the indie title Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Well now we have some good news for you. Ninja Theory has announced that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be coming to the Xbox One. We also have a release date, April 11th.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is set in the 8th century and tells the harrowing story of Senua as she struggles to save the soul of a loved one. This is a traumatic experience as she must battle demons. Both those physically attacking her and also the ones that live inside her head. And it is this last point that makes Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice such a unique experience.
The developer recommends that you play the game with headphones on and this is for a very specific reason. One of the key features of the game is the aforementioned demons that inhabit the head of our heroine. Voices interrupt the thoughts of Senua and these voices are pumped directly into your head if you are wearing headphones. This adds a massive psychological factor to the game and something that sets Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice apart from many other games on the market. Ninja Theory are a developer that like to takes chances that few other developers would dare to take and this time it seems to have paid off.
A a little extra, owners of an Xbox One X will get an enhanced version which will feature three different modes. The first is a High Performance mode which will run the game at 60 frames per second, another is an Enhanced Visuals mode which will add as yet unspecified special effects and boosted visual quality for an amzing artistic experience, and finally the High Resolution mode, which will run the game with up to 4k HDR.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is set to be released on the Xbox One on April the 11th.
