Battlefield: Bad Company 3 on the cards?
Youtuber AlmightyDaq (who correctly predicted many of the details for Battlefield 1 months before EA revealed them- just in case you wonder why people are taking him seriously), claims to know that Battlefield: Bad Company 3 will be the next release. The source is apparently an insider with developer DICE. Whether that is the youtuber himself or he has had whispers from someone who is on the inside, we don’t know but he certainly seems to know his stuff and is pretty convincing. EA had announced a Battlefield title for 2018 but there were no specific details given out and although there has been games in the Battlefield series, but it’s been 8 years since we had a game in the Battlefield:Bad Company franchise. That franchise was the most popular amongst a lot fans so it’s certainly getting people talking.
The Youtuber goes into quite a lot of detail and claims it will be set over various locations around the Vietnam War, including the Cold War conflict. It won’t be historically accurate but there will be vehicles that you would expect from the era including tanks and helicopters. There will be 4 main classes: Assault, Support, Recon and Engineer and there will be at least one new mode a 5v5 similar to Squad Obliteration from Battlefield 4. There will still be the usual game modes such as Rush, Operations, Domination, Team Deathmatch and Conquest and multiplayer will return with a focus on smaller maps than previous Battlefield games. The Battlepack loot box system is supposedly also set to return but microtransactions won’t due to the Star Wars: Battlefront II response but we are not sure about that last bit. Allegedly the game is due to be officially announced in E3 2018 so we may have to wait until then to find out if the rumors and the details were given are true but it seems pretty plausible. You can see the full rumour video here in the meantime.
