Destiny 2’s Prestige Raid Delayed
Hardcore Destiny 2 players have been waiting for the prestige raid to roll out with bated breath. It was due to go live today but unfortunatly players will have to wait a little longer. A week longer in fact.
To give us time to fix an issue, we’re delaying the start of the Prestige Raid until Oct 18 at 10AM PDT.

According to Bungie the delay has been caused by the discovery of an exploit which “causes encounters to be stripped of their intended challenge”. No further details have been given but this could be something to do with the tricks that people have found to beat the raids final boss. “It’s important to us that the team who earns World First status doesn’t have their legacy tarnished by doubt, skepticism, or uncertainty,” Bungie said.
In other news the launch of the Iron Banner will go ahead as planned with the addition of the new map Distant Shore at the end of the event.
