Ashes Cricket Is Coming To The Xbox

Cricket is the quintessentially English sport. The sound of the bat hitting the ball can be heard through the quiet of many an English village during a sunny Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately it is a sport that often hasn’t translated very well to video games.

Big Ant Studios are hoping that their upcoming title Ashes Cricket will break this trend. Fans of the sport will know that there is no rivalry bigger than England and Australia and that they fight for the tiny urn that is a trophy that legends are made of.

Ashes Cricket is set to be the most realistic cricket game ever made. It will feature the real stars of the sport as well as the official grounds where the test matches are played. The game has tried to ensure this realism by working closely with the Australian cricket board.

As well as playing the actual ashes you will also be able to create your own players and teams. You will also be able to build your own stadiums and design your own logos for your teams. As well as all of this you will also be able to undertake a career mode that will see you going from been a junior cricketer all the way through to a regular in the test team that will fight for the aforementioned urn.

Ashes cricket is set to be released onto the Xbox One in November of this year.
